It’s called torque management even with traction control in any setting it will not let you do a burn out. Sometimes you might be able to do one if your on a slippery surface. A tune will change that for sure.
Best way would be to reset adaptive learning. Easy to do if you have a tuner if not just unplug the battery for 10 min and it should do the trick. After it’s reset drive it to your liking.
I used an SCT tune on my gen 2 for a couple of weeks before I got my Cobb tuner. SCT and Bullydog are one company now pretty sure they share the same tunes. It worked well definitely gave it a power increase.
If you lost 23lb per corner of unsprung weight it would be equal to dropping around 300lb of sprung weight. Translates to like 3 tenths faster in a quarter mile.
Bullydog and SCT are now one company. They use canned tunes that work ok but your better off getting a tune from a reputable shop. Goose tuned only works on Cobb AP. There are a lot of shops that will write you a custom tune for the SCT/BD device.
