All good dude.
Anyway, I just got a call from my dealer. My order got cancelled because it would be a 2018, and they don't make Avalanche Gray anymore. I have first dibs on a 2018 if I want. Smh...
I have to tell you, your YouTube video inspired me to order my raptor. I like what you did with it. But man, I was right. You not only look and sound like a douche bag, you actually are a douche bag. :yourself:
:win:
I get what you're saying, but I just haven't had Audi forget to tighten down my oil pan bolts or plug in my sub. I know German cars have issues, but it's not due to quality control. That's my only point. :D
Just like the fake carbon fiber every shit you did on your scrap
:lewx4:
There's threads where people's wiring harnesses on their raptors caught fire because the clips they are held by were loose. Something that should have been checked at the factory.
Regarding the QC and the oil leaks...

I suppose I'll take my chances with the 2017. I have to admit though, the Ford quality...
I was wondering that my self. Ordering from Ford has been really weird compared to say, Audi, which I have in the past. I'm not really impressed with the Ford process. At least with Audi you have a 100% chance of getting your car the way you ordered it, with excellent quality control and on...
Hi all,
I've been browsing these forums for several days now and I'm not exactly sure if I want to cancel my 2017 order and wait for a 2018 or not. I come to you current owners for advice...
My only concerns are the engine quirks and little b.s. things that I don't know if I want to deal...
I never said that the raptor has a "fuel composition" sensor. The ECU won't instantly detect higher octane and immediately start raising timing back to its base line tune. I understand very well that most if not all production cars have a base line tune rated for a certain octane, and can only...
I ordered my Raptor in March sometime and the dealer didn't tell me anything about the carbon fiber package being an issue. I got every single option available for the Raptor.
Some people were making the claim octane has no impact. I'm specifically responding to them.
So you put in 91 and immediately tested times afterwards? It takes some time for the ECU to adjust to the increased octane levels.
This isn't about belief. This is about science.
This should have been a question asked on this forums registration page. Anyone who argues that an increase in octane does not make a difference in horsepower on a turbo engine should not be allowed on a car forum. End of story. Please close this thread!
