Well I got it back after 11 days with all new parts all done....started up, no noise awesome! Parked across street At Home Depot and went shopping. I came out and started the truck with that all too familiar noise rattling again. Should be interesting when I take back tomorrow.
Dropped mine off today - anyone have aftermarket intercooler installed? I waiting for that call today...you need to put it back to stock for Ford to do the repair.
I'm in California - I wouldn't worry about it, I have never had a problem. Find the right shop, I ask them straight up what about thses things before handing over keys and the $. The response I have got on my trucks has always been, don't worry about it, if we plug it in and it passes you are...
Nice, that's cool. I was curious because I'm on my 3rd front skid from smashing them on hill climbs/angle transitions at speed, but that's without frame cut. I don't care about damage to skid but Ford gives me crap and "logs" it in my records.
Thinking about going to your style if I keep...
Anyone have their passenger seat rattle while driving offroad/washboard? If I push on it while driving it stops...sounds like something internal...
Thanks!
Vibrations.....well I would say no, since all my trucks have m/t tires on then. You will for sure "feel" the m/t a little more than a lighter load rated all terrain. Yes they are stiffer (load E / sidewalls). 34 psi should be fine just keep an eye on wear.
My suggestion would be take 30...
I ran the 37" and they were great! Just too big without glass fenders/bedsides. They rode outstanding, way way better than my toyo m/t - helped that they were "d" rated and extra sidewall from 37". I would think they should be really nice, but not really fair to compare to stock ko2.
Yes, all covered. After front diff gernaded and replaced with warrantyy, he said they are going to have hard time covering future problems based on suspension upgraded.
I was running aftermarket tie rods, blew out 2 steering systems, try driving Out of the trail without power...not fun. Put oem back on before dealership. After the second time the service manager told me to leave it as is and see what happens - 25,000 miles later no problems, OEM.
For sure! I hit it probably 5-6 times and just got into it a little too much on that one...which is easy to do and really get screwed.
I's expecting them to say I have to pull the intercooler and go back to stock for them to work on. And btw they do take notes on the dents in the skid plates.
Yep, been waiting on taking it in for that - expecting the fun to start. Buddy that was in our camp at pismo just got his bought back from the "lemon law".
Totally agree and feel that! Just got tired of throwing money into this thing!and not sold on it’s reliability yet. Have 33k on it and have had that cam phaser problem and need to take it in. Waiting to hear their hassle with the mods. They gave me quite a bit of crap when the front diff...
It was a little violent on front corner landing. Fox 3.0, Rpg uca, rogue tie rods, deavers, SVC bump stop kit ( got full compression on one side and only half on other...screwed landing. Caught me off guard on like a bunny hop before jump at top of hill and I had a slight turn going on.
