Yeah so update, I bitched to my dealer they agreed it is not right and they want to fix it. So they took pictures and sent it to Ford. I'm just waiting for them to approve it for warranty. I am hoping they can fix it properly. I know there are much bigger problems in the world that mouldings on...
So no dice on this issue. The dealer nor the auto body wants to touch it they said they will make it worse. Pretty bs. Guess I'll have to try and fix it myself.

Yeah that piece don't help it to sit flush. But if it is installed properly with pressure from the clip it should stay flush like others I've seen.

Yeah unfortunately the rear door does not have a torque screw it's only a clip with teeth to hold the molding down. Crappy design to fix if it don't come right from the factory.

Ok I'll check it. Thanks

I had this same issue on my 2015 xlt dealer replaced them several times and they could not get it to sit flat. So I'm kinda sketched out to go back to them and maybe try a body shop I trust.

Haha I'm actually from Worcester MA, so I'm a bruins fan. But yeah my molding on my passenger side is nice like that one. Just my drivers side is coming up. Thinking of going to a body shop just afraid they will make it worse.

Wondering if any supercab owners are experiencing the rear window molding not sitting flush on the door. Basically what is happening is the rubber trim sits in a clip that has teeth to hold it down but from factory the design either works or you end up with a molding that don't sit flush. From...
Yeah at this point just happy it is on it's way. The last few Raptors my dealer has taken delivery on have all showed up on time so hoping for the same.
Im from Worcester, live just north in Holden.

Truck finally left Dearborn on rail yesterday got a pretty definitive ETA of 4/26 now.
FP gave me the date, but they said it's not very accurate. They said once the truck is in transit on the train the ETA at that time is the most likely time it will show up. So I will call again later this week to see if it finally left Dearborn and hopefully get a more final ETA.
I am in MA too, my truck was finished production on the 10th, seems to have been sitting there for a week with no shipping info yet. Called today they said it is "awaiting shipping" with ETA of April 28th. So I am hoping it goes out today. Maybe yours will be on the same train. The last Raptor...
Yeah that is what I thought at first, but the build date you are given, or the one you see on your window sticker is usually the day it finishes production. They start production a week before your build date. So mine started down the line 4/3 and was finished on my build date 4/10. Now it's...
My dealer is in central mass, My truck is scheduled for 4/10. Ford performance confirmed that 4/10 Monday it will actually start production. I originally had an ETA of May 5th to 11th. Once they knew it actually was going into production that Monday my new ETA was changed to April 24th to May...
Hey I went through the same thing with my 2015 f150 scab. Paint was chipped in multiple places, dash had a gouge in it, and the belt moldings on the rear windows were peeling up and never fixed properly. I am praying that my Raptor has no issues. The window moldings annoyed me the most i'm...
It does not show AG on the list of colors probably because it's new and unique, but you can provide VIN# and they can match. So I will wait till I get VIN and order. This is good news.
