Little help with order...question on specific items/packages.

So are you saying just skip factory and get better ones installed afterward? Not everyone does rock climbing. Plenty to love about the Raptor with the standard electronic systems. Your contribution has been noted.

Little help with order...question on specific items/packages.

Building out a standard 35", but have some questions on a few items: 360-Degree Cameras: does this ONLY come with the Convenience + Tow Tech packages combo for $1,670? Want the cameras, but no need for anything else in those packages. Not spending $1700 just for the cameras. LED Fog Lights: if...

Where is the cold air in the cabin coming from!?!?

By the way, I should mention it's not constant. Really strange in that the cold air comes in at random times then its fine again for a few min and then cold breeze again.

Where is the cold air in the cabin coming from!?!?

Ok fine don't beat me up, I ended up with a *not* Raptor truck, but already have an account on this forum and too lazy to go elsewhere to ask. PS - Mines a 2.7T SCREW FX4. Now that its colder outside and I'm using the heater, I keep getting random breezes of cold air coming across my lap...

    2018 Raptors Springtime

Or wait until May and order a 2019? What's the point of ordering a 2018 in April, by that time either order a 2019 or take a 2018 off the lot. No?

So where is a prospective buyer even supposed to see one or better yet test drive????

I think Ford heard my complaints. Raptor was awesome, but too big for me. This, however, might fit the bull just right!!! Shorter and smaller, but still full-size truck. Loaded on features and options. EB3.5 for much better MPG and street-use. Probably pretty fast and could be tuned for much...

So where is a prospective buyer even supposed to see one or better yet test drive????

there might be some truth to this, but unfortunately i am stuck here for now. it's not impossible to own it around NJ/NYC, just pretty impractical. i like the do-it-all nature of the truck, but it is very big. i park on a parking deck to take the train to work and basically i would not be able...

So where is a prospective buyer even supposed to see one or better yet test drive????

Well the good news and less than good news. The good news is that the dealership was super nice and had the car out front ready and gassed up. We took a lot of time to go over it top to bottom. Before we got on the road, everything looked great. I was really impressed with all of the options and...

So where is a prospective buyer even supposed to see one or better yet test drive????

Ok found two available within an hours drive. Both dealers did not sound very willing to let me drive it on the phone said to come in and they'll see "if i'm serious" and they don't like "joyrides". As if I'm going there for shits-and-giggles or I was going to take the thing offroad for 3 days...

So where is a prospective buyer even supposed to see one or better yet test drive????

I figured a FlipBak with a BedRug would be perfect. And you're right, smaller stuff can just go inside the cab.

So where is a prospective buyer even supposed to see one or better yet test drive????

I found four others in approx 30 mile radius. I'm going to make some calls and take a drive tomorrow, I'm sure I can find one to test drive. One dealer said that if it's not sold tonight, it will be available to drive tomorrow. I don't know if I'm a truck guy, trying to figure that out :) I...

So where is a prospective buyer even supposed to see one or better yet test drive????

I hope so, but it really depends on the dealer....some are really nice, while others make you want to hurt someone. ---------- Post added at 03:10 PM ---------- Previous post was at 03:03 PM ---------- Grrrr. Just called to confirm and it's sold. Back on the hunt for another one.

So where is a prospective buyer even supposed to see one or better yet test drive????

I know, I know...but really want to drive one before making that order. Hopefully the dealer will let me drive it.

So where is a prospective buyer even supposed to see one or better yet test drive????

Is an FX4 a good comp/substitute to how the Raptor rides/drives? I'm going to a dealer on Sat for a test drive, but not sure they will let me take the Raptor out so was curious if an FX4 is comparable or not?

So where is a prospective buyer even supposed to see one or better yet test drive????

Meh...raptor is about the only Ford I like. If it's not that, then I am not really sure what else. Everything else looks so plain and boring compared to the Raptors :)

So where is a prospective buyer even supposed to see one or better yet test drive????

Here is another silly question. I would like to have the bed covered, waterproof and locked. Cover seems simple enough, something like a FlipBak. Seems like the best one right? And now the dumb question. Carrying normal stuff (boxes, strollers, costco shopping, etc) in the back of an SUV is...

So where is a prospective buyer even supposed to see one or better yet test drive????

I don't need a "work truck", my job involves a computer :) But just found the ratings a bit odd and would use it for towing once in a while. thank you!

So where is a prospective buyer even supposed to see one or better yet test drive????

Towing question, says 6000lbs for SCAB and 8000lbs for SCREW. Is that right? Why such a huge difference? 6000lbs for such a big v8 truck is kind of disappointing since a v6 Tacoma is rated for 6400lbs.

So where is a prospective buyer even supposed to see one or better yet test drive????

Great idea, but the closest one is in the middle of CT and the other is in MD. I found a few random ones around so I'll try to take a look at those first because venturing out too far. Thanks

So where is a prospective buyer even supposed to see one or better yet test drive????

They are still small so shouldn't be an issue for a while. Also living in NJ, I don't want too big of a truck because then it will become an issue. The SCAB seemed both big enough, yet still not huge and problematic to park and such. Another reason to try and see them in person and decide...
