All, the return hose to the coolant reservoir is leaking on my truck. If I drain the reservoir, can I just replace the hose?

In my opinion it boils down to how long you want to keep the truck. If you are the type of person that wants a different truck every 4-5 years keep the Gen 2. If you want to keep it indefinitely then trade for the Gen 1. I have a Gen 1. Going to keep it forever. 6.2L is rock solid.

I notice this in Florida. I drive a Gen 1. I get a wave back from Gen 1 drivers about 90% of the time. Gen 2’s only about 40% of the time. Guess they are jealous. [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]

We have both. Raptor and a 4Runner TRD Pro. Both awesome. Different but both well built and capable. Don’t sleep on the 4Runner. Raptor resale is higher but the market for potential buyers is without question higher for the 4Runner.

My guess is it is the assembly. I have a 2012 and replaced mine because it was yellowing. Then once replaced I realized that the red lights in the lamp weren’t functioning in my old one. I’d buy a new assembly and replace it because as a 2012 the original is probably yellowing anyway and then...
2012 drivers power seat dead. How do I know if it is the motor or the button? Saw some videos online replacing the button. Anyone fix this issue before?

I have tested this extensively on my Gen 1 6.2L with BFG KO2. At 70mph on the highway I get exactly 16.5mpg. 66mph seems to be my sweet spot at 16.9mpg. However, I just changed to Toyo M/T and my mpg at 70 is now 14.5. That’s a big hit.
