I wish I would've taken a photo when I drove my black 19' GT350R from OKC to Houston in August with blue Frog Tape covering the entire painted front half. I kept it on for two weeks until I was able to get it into the shop for PPF. Not a sign of damage anywhere...may have gotten lucky on that...
Welcome! Porsche guy here as well with a 22’ Rap & the gray wheels. I liked the gray so much, I purchased another set of gray wheels. Black wheels have become standard anymore. But to each his own. Remove the decals already!! Cute kid btw.
Didn’t get this accomplished today, but lately removed the bedside graphics and added some fifteen52’s with KM3’s. I really liked the 37 beadlocks but couldn’t find a sixth spare so went the aftermarket route. Tire rack to be delivered any day now.
No kidding! Might be a good business venture for someone. In fact, I’m going to see if there’s already something like it anywhere else. I would love the opportunity to learn on someone else’s truck before I learn on mine.
I’d go in a heartbeat…too bad I had to buy used as the spec I wanted wasn’t on a dealer lot when I was ready to buy. Patience is a virtue, I know. Anyhow, reached out to FP a few months ago asking if it was possible to go without an invitation even though I knew it was a long shot. Yeah, they...
I was going to go this route and ultimately didn’t since I removed all graphics. They look nice otherwise. I ended up buying a set of overlays from another co. to hide the swirl marks which were irking me.
See a couple dozen bro dozers like this everyday here in Texas, but rarely is one a Raptor. Well, like I always say, ‘to each his own’. Or should I amend that to ‘they or them’ ? Hahaha…
Rarely do I ever read all posts in a thread, but this one was very entertaining from start to finish. I hope everyone enjoyed it as much as I just did and learned a valuable lesson! Yeah...people are neat.
For those of you who have a bypass rack with dual tire setup and no spare underneath, how much has the rear dropped? Did you replace the springs to get back to stock height?
Nope, and I wouldn't waste your time dealing with Planet Ford in Spring, Texas. But...do your due diligence. I had a great experience with Metro Ford of OKC. I know it's a bit of a haul, but I bought my 19' GT350R off the showroom floor for under MSRP. I think I lucked out as they were...
Can the big three just give the UAW a slight raise to never come back? In reality, they have to get that raise…how else will they continue to deceive the ‘workers’ into unknowingly funneling dues, thereby enriching the mob bosses, and empowering the Communist Party?
I’m not sure what manufacturers will have to do to get me even remotely interested in an appliance in my Garage. If that day ever comes, I guess I’ll have to let my wife decorate it as she’ll then have two kitchens.
Might be a stupid question…I see that the Badlands jack has composite wheels, but what is the material that surrounds them? Is it just a single composite piece? The wheels almost look like the same material on my kids’ Power Wheel. I guess it doesn’t matter too much as they are still holding up...
I’ve had a similar experience after startup and pulling out into traffic. I floored it as soon as I completed the turn and I noticed a very brief ‘cut’ in power. This has happened twice over the last few months. I drive primarily in Sport mode. My driving style hasn’t changed and otherwise feels...
Another motivating force behind removing the decals is revealing the otherwise hidden aggressive lines of the bed. The Raptor just looks more masculine from all angles now. Side note: the wife thought I made a mistake and I was worried that I would feel that way as well after the fact since I...
