well, if it were me building it, I would try and put the turbo (or turbos, small twins would be the way to go) up top by the firewall. If you do any off roading, I think having it low would be a problem with water, mud, dirt, ect. I think a twin turbo setup with the hot side coming straight up...

is there an updated price on the handhelds? seem to be going for low $140 on amazon. I know they come programed, but the cord is cheap and there is free software. Or am I missing something? do these radios come with something extra? thanks
It might be ok in the GT500, but what about for the guys that are hard core off roading? a street driven GT500 will not have as much movement. I would be worried about it going up and down and generally moving too much if it wasn't actually mounted in the engine bay. Might want to ask them about...
