Very easy to do---I had to tweak mine for a week to make sure I was not killing people in the other lane on 26 going to breakfast every morning.. Just pull over pop the hood -- takes all of a minute or tweak.
Cash is the worst thing you can do at the Dealer... DO NOT tell them till after you have negotiated the price of the truck and trade if any. Rookie mistake...
People I have had the LED DOT lights--they are just ok. The HID for example the 50 watt Raptor Retrofit lights with a Osram bulb spank any LED Headlight I have ever seen. The LED is great but the heat issue is something that will have to be overcome or reliability will be a huge issue.
Blondie--you are incorrect about the LED and heat generation. The heat sinks on my custom flashlights are brutal and will in some cases get so hot in a matter of minutes that they will burn the hell out of your hand if you touch them for very long.
Some of my lights put out 9k lumens and 45k...
These trucks DO have a higher than normal % of resale when compared to the original MSRP. Not to the price paid though. There are and never have been rebates on the Raptor. Here in the DFW area it is possible to buy them for close to invoice---looked into getting a new one but changed my mind...
These are the one I went with---expensive but brutal light output.
Sold the Speaker lights.

Just by looking at the reflector I seriously doubt that those will hold a candle to the Light Cannons. Last trip to the ranch measured the distance that the light threw (4 lamps) that I could see 1.5 miles on the hwy from Carlsbad to the ranch towards the Texas border.
Even suprized...
I have had a set on a earlier truck. They are great in the soft stuff. Pretty much suck at everything else esp in the rain or snow. Worst tire I have ever had in the rain. The best plust the DG's have is the sidewall--tough as it gets...
They were pretty quiet and provided good handling on...
Not to mention that the value of your Raptor would fall by at least half. A very tiny % of the market would want something like that. Hey it would make you Raptor different than all of the others.
Long term support (spares and repairs) of the transmission will be an issue to consider as well.
At great personal risk will make the following statement:
As this site has grown and there are more and more Raptors on the street the number of "street queens" has increased at an increasing rate. It is apparent that this is a trend that will continue. So I MUST ask the question as I have...
Well if you have to SC one start with this---a Stage 3 then go to work adding a SC.... Bet the driveline won't last a weekend.

Well sometimes that can be a stupid thing to do! They may have found a Buyer for yours. Who knows but I know that when I am looking it is whoever is first!
There is a difference between a TC and a SC engine. :cocktail:
You run a SC engine set up for high HP on our place in Eddy County HM it is going to well imagine this---after just one day and the outside temps are over 110 you open the hood and everything is white!! I mean everything!! Do this...
If you have the money do it the right way. Everybody and their pet parakeet have SC Raptors. Build HP the way it should for an off road truck. Sorry and this hurts people’s feelings but a SC Raptor SCREAMS STREET QUEEN I AM A POSER to me.
Kind of like the guys with the sport bikes with a...
