    Installing aftermarket horns??????????

Actually you would be very surprised at the amount of sound these twin horns put out. They both have compressors and I measured at 106 DB. If you measure the factory horns you get a whopping 88 DB. The down side is the twin compressors are small and will run out of air if you hold the horn down...

    Installing aftermarket horns??????????

Joe you have really been a lot of help. So here are my stupid questions in looking at your picture. 1. "from switch" I assume means from the stock horn wire? Right? 2. "to power LED lights" would be power out to horns? Right? 3. "12 volt constant" I am not sure what exactly goes those two...

    Installing aftermarket horns??????????

Thanks Joe. How about the ground wire? Do I not hook into that as well? How about the horn fuse...will it not need to be larger? By the way....where is the horn fuse in our trucks? See I told you I was a dumbass about "LECTRICTY"!

    Installing aftermarket horns??????????

I want them active all the time. Hence the reason I would "T" them into stock horn wires. Keep in mind these are simple 12v horns with small compressors that run off 12v. I had one in my old truck but a friend wired it for me and he is no longer available to help.

Are these supposed to look like this?

I am sorry but I have a problem with this answer. I have checked mine and there is no seepage. They are clean as a pin. I asked a Ford Tech and he says they get them all the time like that. He said they are "told" by Ford it is normal but he disagrees with that answer. However since Ford will...

are you guys still in around

Just let me add my experience with Lex has always been outstanding. You have to keep in mind that many quality shops have some poor guy who is responsible to review and answer all e-mails and comment on the various sites while still carrying a work load. I know how tough it is as a good freind...

    Octane rating vs fuel consumption

You run cruise at 50 MPH you will be amazed at the gas mileage improvement. Course you might get a:flipthebird: finger or two from the folks who don't give a crap about gas mileage and are probably running high octane too at 75 MPH!!

    Octane rating vs fuel consumption

Interesting. I have tried that with multiple octanes and multiple brands. All driven the same road and the same mileage. Never saw as much as 1 MPG difference between octanes or brands. Now all brands were top tier gas but that was the only similar factor. Without CALABRATED EQUIPMENT IT IS ALL...

    Exhaust tips turning black

Thanks good to know. Good Lord they have added a ton of brands and delaers since I last looked. I used to drag race a lot and I can tell you if you run racing gas your pipes will be pristeen. Course that may not be good for other parts of the engine. I really would have the dealer put it on the...

    Exhaust tips turning black

As far as I know Conoco is not a top tier gas but have not checked in some time. Simply not sure if a cat back could make that much difference. An aftermarket tune certainly could. The dealer can put it on the computer and get a good idea how efficient the engine is operating. My pipes are as...

Rogue Racing Throttle Bumper w/Radius Lighting Package Deal!**

I can only say what so many other have said. This is a real quality product. Even the lights are really well made. I have received so many complements on this bumper and what everyone says is...."it looks almost factory as it fits the Raptor so well". I have purchased many things for my truck...

    Boot came off

Man you are lucky they didn't bring up the mid perch. They certainly could have. Sounds like your dealing with a good and fair dealer. I check my boots all the time as well as everything else underneath on a regular basis. That is how I found my tranny pump was leaking. IT's a good idea to look...
