Went out with some local 4X4's. I was the first to get stuck. High centered, my 03 Rubicon would kick the Raptors a@@ in the snow.
The tires dont self clean & it's to heavy for it's tire size- no floatation, it just sinks until it bottoms out. However, on the trip back down the hill I left em...
These idiot greenies think that electricity just comes out of thin air. Well, it doesnt (as mentioned in previous posts) it comes from power plants & yes, they produce emmissions.
Here is something else to think about. What happens when everyone has an electric car and the power companies have...
Correct me if I am wrong, but dont you need those little "T" shaped thingies to attach/ get into the key holes Or can you just feed a link of chain into them?
Glad to hear everyone made it out OK. That sort of thing happens around here at least twice during the winter, (except it's usually snow that gets 'em).
Man, that is great to see that someone is selling something. I get so tired of all the bad news the media keeps pouring out. You guys are doing something right- keep it up.
Glad to hear the Raptors are holding their own.
The coverage on VS is not all that great (IMHO). They spend a lot of time covering the bikes, and way to much time on Robbie Gordon & his Hummer. I liked it better when it was on Speed & was an hour long show.
I am 100% in agreement.
I like the wheels. I think they are one of the better looking factory wheels. If you dont like 'em- that's fine to.
Just dont expect me to get all excited when your "made in China" wheel fails and sends you off in some surprise direction.
Yep, my thoughts exactly, way to much ft axle weight. Why a Duramax & do you really want power side step? One oops & they are stuck. I like my basic fixed side steps.
My bet is that it never sees the light of day, or if it does it's going to be really watered down.
You hit the nail right on the head. That's the one thing that really bugged me- of course it's not going to be like a Viper on the road. Makes me wonder just how savvy Tanner actually is.
Had the same thing happen to me a few weeks ago when it got cold (lows of -3) I found that the tires were only about 4-5 PSI low. Now that the temps are back to normal, they are probably over inflated....
Who pays? The mechanic's life insurance policy.
All wise guy comments aside, a good article & advice.
More good advice: Dont write anything that you dont want read in open court.
Yeah, trucks have come a long way, just look back to the 60's era trucks, closer to that Mack than our Raptors.
I bet 90% of the people today couldnt even drive that Mack what with the non syncro trans...
I have suffered thru two episodes of the the American Top Gear & if it doesnt improve (suggestion: replace the hosts) I will stop watching. Why they felt the need to try and copy the original version is beyond me. They should have found some hosts with chemistry & let it go in the direction in...
