Funny you say it. Though my mod list is modest (poet and I didn't know it)
the same thing goes when your truck is dirty.
The "mall crusher" crowed that washes and waxes their truck for cruising on Friday night has taken the glory from those of us that USE the truck to its potential.
I live...
That's a bit douchey of Lagunitas. (Not to say Sierra Nevada has not pulled the occasional dousche card as well).
It suck when these guys forget where they came from.
Thanks Nosbusa
Noah stopped by to instal his signature under hood light set up and a kill a couple pints of Poppy Jasper from El Toro brewery.
Super nice instal and pretty damn bright.
Incase this thread ever gets looked at...
Just adding details as to the haunted transmission.
Dealer read an error code and replaced a shift solenoid.
Worked for a couple day then same shift problem occurred. This time I noticed the gear indicator on the console showed the truck shift from 1st...
Its inspiring to see people take command of their lives and do their own thing and be REALY FRICKING GOOD AT IT!
I get to Colorado springs about once a year so I will track you down.
Crap!
Who is gonna bail my ass out when I try to install something.
You always fix my screw-ups!
Mid perch up front and +2 Deaver leaf kit in the back.
You up a bit and the ride/performance is even better than stock.
Get in touch with Haynes Off Road. He has the set up you want!
Turned my Raptor in to a POS Nissan rental car.
...while my transmission get diagnosed and fixed (hopefully).
They tried last week but no tango and had to take the beast back in.
I HATE BEING TRUCKLESS!
I spent the last 2.5 years getting this truck set just the way I want/need it for what I like to do.
I had planned to be buried in the thing when the time comes.
That said, Damn truck is in the shop again!
This time a mystery transmission issue and I am rolling around in a little POS Nissan...
Thanks for assist getting it to the attention of a district manager.
I think I will need the help.
They cleared the code and drove it and could not get a repeat issue.
I picked the truck and it DID repeat on the way home.
So back I go in the morning.
The truck feels like it can't find second...
Weird stuff going on in the guts of my truck!
I stopped at an intersection for red light, the light turns green, I step on the gas to go only to feel the truck jerk along like someone is killing the ignition and restarting over and over.
The truck never died so I coasted to the side, put in...
Here is the stuff I could never seem to find done cleanly
*Snorkel
*Dual battery (under hood, not in the bed)
*Aux fuel tank (under truck, not in the bed)
Hell go full safari set up on it!
Custom roof rack to hold your traction ramps, hi Lift, etc.
If no one is parting with any on the forum...

http://stores.ebay.com/OEM-Select-Parts/_i.html?_nkw=svt+wheels&_sid=1017722773&submit.x=0&submit.y=0
Installed my long awaited SVC Bump Stops.
Great product and excellent quality and worth the wait!
I almost forgot to thank Haynes Off Road!
Thanks Joseph for staying on top of this and keeping me informed of SVC efforts and progress.
He is totally the "Rave Turkey".
He follows a gang of turkeys around our neighborhood and just cant seem to impress the hens as well as the toms can.
He never gives up, and for that I drink beer to honor his neon disco efforts!
Its almost as bright as the LED antennas you kids seem to be enjoying.
The install was easy. Reception is crappy though.
Rose (dog) seems to like it...
Anyone ever find a way to get an offroad GPS to feed in to the stock console display?
I am happy to say I have the NavTv installed but taking it up a notch, I would like something similar LOWRANCE or even a cheap Garmin GPS feeding in to the stock touch screen for the off-road wandering.
Splined lugs
I ordered these "genuine" Ford black splined lugs that were stated as spec for Raptor's.
They seem to seat in the wheel OK but not with as much surface space as the existing lugs.
Anybody see any issues with these during off road beatings?
Maybe they are genuine Faurd parts?
