    Another vote for using a windshield sunshade - it will limit the effects of being left in direct sunlight all day at work (ie - leather interior color fade, cracking, etc). :)

    No turn signal

    If all of the actual turn signal bulbs checked out OK, I would try replacing the turn signal/flasher relay unit (assuming these newer vehicles still use 'em?). Had a similar problem/symptom many years ago on another vehicle and replacing it solved the issue. G'luck...

    Strange for sure, but I wouldn't automatically classify it as a "scam." Was the note left while you were out and about with the truck somewhere or placed while parked in your driveway? Maybe an old fart nudged the truck (without leaving paint transfer) with their car in a parking lot...
