    What upgrade?

Man. One day, unfortunately the price of houses in my city are just ridiculous and saving for a down payment takes a lot. Future upgrades for sure! And yeah i got the joke, put my twist on it! I have a Gen 1 in the rust belt. I dont need turbo, oil pan, and cam phaser issues to add on!

Just got my Gen 1! What is the best way to level it out?

Best way, Geiser springs. Cheapest way, mid perch. The springs are expensive however with their progressive wind, they are one heck of a setup for the front of the truck.

    What upgrade?

You think thats possible? I am a huge turbo fan and have always loved the sound of 3.5 v6 whining out. However, will it mate up to a 6r80? Now for more realistic responses, thanks for taking the time to answer. Def made my mind up with a leaf pack.

    What upgrade?

Looking for an upgrade and am completely torn between a few. Looking to increase performance along with durability but I am at a log jam. I am tossed up between an ADD PRO front bumper, SVC Baja V3 rear bumper, or going the Icon multi-rate leafs. It pretty stock other than a set methods...

Cant buy it so I'll build it

This is awesome!! I am def deciding on doing a similar thing once I feel I have to. Buy a V8 F150 and do a raptor swap! Keep us updated, can't wait to see the progress. Why did you get tired of the 2.0's? They weren't enough?

    OPINIONS ON A 2010 6.2 SCAB

Looks like a nice truck. Other than a couple of cosmetic issues, its a solid vehicle. It looks as f its on the top perch of the shocks which may be a little rough on the cv's, but that's an easy fix. If you're looking to purchace it, the major downfall is the lack of shifting buttons/manual...

Steering feel after power steering flush

When replacing the oil, the steering should become easier. My money is on the cold weather. Get it up to temp and then see how hard it is to turn. Also, stupid observation, you are also probably wearing a winter jacket which will hinder your turning slightly. (Hate driving in thick jackets..)

Does this sound like a failing IWE?

sounds like an IWE solenoid issue. Buddy had an F150 and we repaired his similar issues with a new solenoid. It is located on the left side of the brake master cylinder (right side of master cylinder when facing it.) All the vaccum lines will go into it. You can bypass it and test the system...

    Shifter lights out

make sure the contacts are clean. I had mine do the exact same thing, tore it apart expecting a wiring issue and it turned out to be corrosion from water getting to the contacts. I would pull the bulbs, give em a good cleaning prior to diagnosing a short in the system. The wires are quite...

    GEN 1 Catalytic converters

Honest question. When was the last time you did your spark plugs? Also, what fuel are ou using? I had a Pickup (not my Raptor) have a 420 code right around when it was due for plugs, replaced em and the code went away. Also was using 91 in it.

2013 SCrew Died and Will Not Start

Are you getting voltage to the terminals for the fuel pump fuse? It is cranking over but not starting right? Stupid question, did you did install the fuse relocation in the right spot? You haven't got any other check engine lights on?

GEN 1 Buying a Raptor from Mexico??

Honestly, this looks loke a pretty clean truck. I don't know why there is such hesitation behind it. check the rear bumper edges that wrap around the beside. Are they blasted from offroading? The clear indicators that this was beat aren't there. The rear shock guards are clean, the bottom...

New Member from Minnesota - Busted up Raptor

You know, a little late on my side, but you may have been safe straightening the frame, lopping off the bumper mounts and installing a smurf bumper. Regardless, awesome work brother, welcome to the community, love it when guys aren't scared to tear into a project! Where did you find the...

Debating on selling the Raptor and going a different direction

Whenever I get the feeling like you, I go out and hit some offroad trails, heck blow high speed drifts in some dirt parking lots, anything. Try that out and lemme know whether you want to trade it, you will miss the useability of the truck. You have a really nice vehicle. On a budget, you will...

4WD mode pulling hard to right on acceleration

With the inherent design of the iwe's, i find you have to back off the power for them to properly engage . not many 4wd systems shift well under power. I say you have an iwe issue. Have you tried to put it in 4 high, in neutral on flat ground, from there you can crank the wheel either locked to...

GEN 1 Anyone running the Gen 1 Eibach front springs?

I think the main issue on these springs would be the amout of lift they provide. +3 is a lot for the front cv's to handle. It will be an interesting comparison between those and the Geisers. Gotta say, the Geisers on low perch are pretty amazing.

Picking up my Gen 1 tomorrow!

Truck looks awesome! Take care of it and it will give you miles of fun. Id say number one thing to do to our truck would be a tuner. makes the shifting in the truck much nicer, firmer and doesn't drop to 6th at 30mph. lose the mirror reflectors, it will clean it up well, and definitely get...

    Front diff pinion seal leaking

have you noticed any puddles of oil or has it been simple weeping? There is tons of oil in that front diff, you will be perfectly fine. Remember, the front 4wd system doesn't rotate when in 2wd, thus where a couple of problems arise from. (water filled diff oil, leaky seals, bearing failures...

    Krown Rust Prevention???

Dude, krown it .You can wipe it off the shocks, but it will keep your truck rust free for ever if you regularly do it. With offroading, it comes off, so personally, i try not to leave it to be re sprayed longer than two years ..i also have a gen 1 tho .The rockers are garbage on the truck so I...
