The crash site is very large, not much shows up in pictures. This is the spot where pilot Mike Alsbury landed, along with much of the cockpit. The area is littered with carbon fiber, window material, electrical parts, and a few AN fittings. I also found a scrap of paper that appears to be from...
I'm spending the weekend in the Cal City area with the Raptor. We went out to Cantil, looking at the crash site of Virgin Galactic's Spaceship Two. We then bombed around the desert for a while. After getting rain recently, traction is incredible. Unfortunately, driving WAY to fast into an...
I'm not a huge fan of the stock jack, that said, I've used it to change two tires, one of them off road. I've also used it to extract my raptor twice when it was high centered off road. All four times I've used it, it did the job for me.
A real jack would definitely be better if you have the...
There is a method to stop the seat belt only chime- I think it may even be in the owners manual. I didn't like my chime at all, especially the turn signal noise. My mod totally kills the chime.
Here is a video that gives you an idea of the seatbelt only chime delete.

Earlier today I stopped by the location where pilot Mike Alsbury landed. I was a little disappointed to only find a small American flag marking the spot where he died. I wish I had brought something with me. I'll be going back that way in two weeks, I'll be bringing up something more substantial...
I was very sad to learn of the crash this morning of the Virgin Galactic Spaceship 2 craft. The aircraft and its crash site are in my stomping grounds. Over the years I watched Spaceship 1 fly, and more recently Virgin Galactictic Spaceship 2 and its White knight mother ship.
I have done a lot...
Oh those are so ugly and off point! The Cherokee is a unibody that is plopped on some other chassis. That's some redneck injuneering if I've ever seen it!
I believe Ready Lift only makes the generic F150 2" and 3" body lifts.
I'm usually up for a good argument, but I've seen enough threads derailed by flaming. I'd like to see a serious discussion of the pros/cons of the 1" body lift concept.
Outside of that, I hope FRF hasn't become too soft, I...
No flaming here please, I'm not talking about a cheap 3" body lift for looks.
I'm thinking a vendor may make some money by selling a QUALITY 1" body lift for a Raptor.
A 1" body lift should allow for 37" tires in many cases without the need for new glass fenders. I like the look of the stock...
Somewhat street queened given the overall milage. The Raptor saw some dirt roads in Missouri and Michigan, a bit of off roading in Maryland, Alabama, and New Mexico.
