6.2 Take the tips off exhaust???

I thought my exhaust tip would easily slide off when the bolts were loosened. no such luck. Mine took lots of WD 40 and wiggling to finally get it off.

    SCAB Pictures

I love the white, silver, blue, orange, and red scabs. Oh, the new terrain as well! I don't really care for the black, too difficult to keep clean. I have a 2010 black scab, 50% of 2010's were black, so they are easy to find. My next Raptor won't be black, but maybe terrain or silver.

2010 Ford Raptor Seat Heater: Driver's side hot spot?

Mind quit today too. It really sucks, my 05 superduty's heated seats worked for 7 years without fail.

Tire advice- Stock rims/Suspention with 37's Baja TA's?

Do the DOT projects get flat spots after sitting like the race versions do? I'm wondering why they are not good in snow? The tread looks like it would work better in the snow than the stock AT's do.

    Shaved my tailgate

Dumb question, but how did you fill the holes left by the handle and F150 emblem?

For those with the orange interiors

I saw this car on CL, does the interior look familiar? It's a 2002 Ford Thunderbird. I didn't realize Ford had done this interior combo before.

    Regular F150 rear springs?

I'm sure it's possible, and it would increase the load carrying/towing capacity of the Raptor (although not legally). I had a 2005 F250 with standard springs that were not happy with my toy hauler. I went to my Ford dealer and wrote down the vin of a F350 on the lot with the towing/camper...

    Tie Rods?

I can see how aftermarket tie rods may have s "tighter" feel to them. Different mounting methods and possibly less flex. I'm just surprised that there are not more stories of damaged stock tie rods. I'm sure I will upgrade at some point, I'm just trying to prioritize my upgrades.

    Tie Rods?

The oem Raptor tie rod looks decidedly weak. That said, who has broken or bent a stock tie rod? The aftermarket tie rods look very enticing, but at $700 or so, are they worth it? I'm really only interested in who has actually damaged the oem tie rods, out of curiosity.

    Warrenty is almost up

I just had my 2010 scab serviced by my local Ford dealer prior to my basic warranty expiring. This was my Raptors first trip to the dealer for anything. With 35,256 miles on the Raptor, the dealer did all of this; -Replaced a blown passenger side rear Fox shock -Replaced a leaking third brake...

    Blown Fox shock

I know from being the codog in a few off road races that the driver never eats as much shrubbery as the passenger. Maybe that's it!

    Blown Fox shock

Ha, no! Most of the time I'm flying solo. I found this, I might give them a try if Ford shoots me down. http://www.shockseals.com/fordraptor.htm

    Blown Fox shock

Mine appears to have little or no oil left. It compresses and extends fairly easily as well.

    Blown Fox shock

I did not realize the shock had blown, I hadn't been under the truck in a while. I did notice the ride was substantially better with the new shock. I guess the dampening faded away over time so the change went unnoticed.

    Blown Fox shock

I had RPG install a stage 2 kit for me last Friday. During the installation they found a blown rear shock. I've been looking into it, and it seems there are quite a few passenger side rear shocks that have blown. It's seems curious that the passenger rear fails more often. I'm going to try and...
