Why not use the RPG stage 1 kit, no hydraulic bump.
It is really just a frame brace, and can be used with the stock bumpstop while offering the test truck some protection against damage.
Whatever it does, it could not have been doing it well with the cracked bushings. I'm happy it no longer rattles and I will have to wait and see if there is any negative long term side effects.
Tuned mass damper rattle- What?
My 2010 Raptor with 40k on it started getting a heavy rattle in it from the rear. It was really a thudding noise as I went over bumps, potholes, and off road.
I secured the spare tightly, and it persisted. I removed the spare and it persisted. Then I found this...
Looks complete except for a track bar drop bracket. I'd recommend buying an adjustable track bar from icon instead of the drop bracket.
I did not need extended brake lines or a steering stabilizer on mine.
I had the same kit on my 02 F250, but I ran dual bilsteins on the front.
Back then Icon...
So the the advantage of removing this dampener is weight savings and I get rid of an annoying rattle.
What are the drawbacks?
I do have the RPG stage 2 installed.
Old thread revival time.
The harmonic weight balancer doohickey is loose on my 2010 w 40k miles. It flops around and clunks. Its not my spare tire, I took it it and it still clunks.
I'm out of warranty and don't want to pay for one. What's it do anyhow?
I'm guessing it smooths out bed hop on...
Because its a stock class, the F150 Raptor can be built up beyond a stock F150. With everything they are replacing, they could use a regular F150, but if they did that they could not use the wider long travel A arms and wider rear axle. Advantage: Raptor
The domestic content of the F150 is 75% (up from 60% last year), so there are many more foreign parts than just the wheels/stereo.

Another good read...
Aren't your import tariffs lower on American made products?
I like American stuff, but it's a global economy these days. I'm pretty sure the foreign content of the Raptor is considerable.
Edit*
I guess we should all drive a Toyota Camry if we want to support America.
The F150 has 75% domestic...
I found a bunch of places that said they are 6 ply, 4 in the tread, 2 in the sidewall. Here is just one of the sources I found;

For some reason Goodyear does not list the plies on their website...
Toyo's are heavy and will cut into your gas milage a bit, but they are great tires. They wear very well for a mudder and have excellent traction.
I had Toyo 37's on my 05 F250 that went over 60k, and a second set that had 40k on them when I sold the truck. It saw extensive offroad use in Mexico...
There is a ton of info about this place and others like it (google Northrop/Grumman Tejon test range).
I'm not saying it's all real, some of the stuff had to have been written by a real wackadoo, but it's entertaining anyhow.
I didn't see any black ops helicopters, ufo's, or aliens myself while...
I went for a drive today looking for some snow. We didn't find much snow, but did find some great trails and a wind farm. Along the way we found a "secret" Northrop/Grumman test facility. It's known as a "Radar cross section facility". The gate was open, but no trespassing signs and video...
