    5792 mile road trip!

I left from Thousand Oaks, California on July first. The primary routes outbound were the 40, 44, 55, and the 94. I visited family in Branson, and Evening Shade, Missouri. From there, I went to Sisters Lakes, Michigan where I spent the week. On the return trip, the primary highways were the 94...

    5792 mile road trip!

I just arrived home from a 4 week 5792 mile road trip with my 2010 6.2 Raptor. Less than 30 days before I left I had flogged the Raptor good down in Baja, you can see that here; http://www.fordraptorforum.com/showthread.php?t=24515 After Baja, I replaced a cut tire, the front skidplate, and...

    N Dakota gas prices

I'm traveling through ND today and am seeing an unusual price trend in gas. Regular and mid grade are priced the same and both contain 10% ethanol. Super does not have ethanol and runs .60 more per gallon. Lots of off brand stations here too, the only brand I recognize is Shell, and they are far...

Raptor Sightings/Spotting (on the road or parked)

I just drove from Los Angeles, Ca to Benton Harbor, Mi. 2722 miles. I saw 11 Raptors along the way, 7 black, 3 white, 1 race red. 9 were screws, 2 were scabs. I thought I would have seen more. Great truck for a roadtrip!

Tailgate with and w/o step question

You can remove the bar assembly and replace it with the non-step tailgate cover plate. I think mine was $66 from ford. It only comes primered, but if you are lining the bed or covering it with a plastic liner it's not a problem.

    A case for stubby antennas

I had been running a stubby antenna for a while then put the oem antenna back on for better reception on a trip. We ended up doing a bit more off roading through trees than anticipated, one branch knocked the antenna into the windshield so hard it broke it. From now on, I'm sticking with the...

    What gives street queens?

I used to own a Ranger, three of them actually. None of them had bump stops, though one had a bent frame and another had bed spread, or was it a bed liner? I don't know, doesn't matter anyway...

    2013 Baja 500 trip

4wd makes all the difference-sometimes. We ran over 30 miles in 4wd, off road mode, diff locked, and traction control off. The silt, ruts, and hill climbs in the most technical sections were not too bad for us. I have 35's, and the trail was dug by cars running 39's, so we skimmed a lot of trail...

    2013 Baja 500 trip

More pics. It looks like only one of the cars we pulled out finished the race. The #150 class one car came in for a 7th place finish in class.
