They fit super tight, but I think they look OK. They do protect well, but the front bracket is on a plastic pin that I can imagine breaking if it were in contact with something hard. They do touch the paint at the top, so I probably need to put some tape on it so it doesn't rub a hole in the paint.
I'm with you SS. But I'm hoping that the top-of-the-line kit will be such a great deal that we can't pass it up! Also it'd be helpful to know if the compressor can be mounted at any angle. Some don't matter. Some can only be strait up.
Last weekend I got the Roush exhaust and CAI installed. This weekend I took a 700+mi road trip. It's a bit noisier but not bad. Thinking about putting in Dyna mat to quieter down.
I don't disagree. And since I added the Roush kit, my foot has been much heavier. However, on this drive, I was on cruise 90%+ of the time at the speed limit. At least for my own mind, the results were telling and solid. I'll be sticking with 91.
I've been running the Goodyear Durratracs for over 1000 miles now and like them. They are slightly louder than stock BFGs, but are more aggressive and most importantly, snowflake'd. I stuck them on 2011 stock wheels and they look great. You can stud them, but I've opted to not. We've ran them...
I did an informal test this weekend. I did long (700+) road miles to/from so the road was the same. I ran 87 there and got 14.1. I ran 91 back and got 15.4. The raptor seems to be sensitive to speed. I was getting 16.2 at 65mph but it dropped sharply to 15.4 when I rolled it up to 70. Also, I'm...
Engine size: 6.2
Intake type: Roush
Tune: stock
Off road: a little, no complaints
My experience: I added the Roush off road intake and cat back. The throttle response is significantly increased. I don't hear any extra intake noise, but the exhaust is a bit louder. After 1000+ miles, it seems the...
So, maybe I'm being dense. The nav-tv is better than lock pick because it can access the front cam? I just ordered a lock pick and they claim they access the front cam too. Hopefully I can install it this week and find out. Or maybe I simply misunderstood. Either way, it's in the mail.
