Agree with this. However, if you didnt do the work yourself and have to pay someone to de mod it for you that could take away your chance of recouping any money.
Your audience is already small, now add mods and it shrinks your potential pool of buyers even more.
As long as both are Super Cabs you cant go wrong! I'd opt for the 2019, has numerous upgrades over the 2017 and its 2 years newer. I am happy with the Recaros, not very aggressive but thats what I want in a truck.
Alot of National tire chains wont touch beadlocks but some are private owned and its up to individual franchisees to decide if they want to or not. My point is if someone just says "oh xxx only charged me $55 for TPMS" its giving false information because it doesnt apply to beadlocks.
For what...
My shop uses Amsoil for all our customer's cars. Ive been using Amsoil Signature series in my personal cars for 15+ years. 2 Raptors, LS7 RX-7, Turbo Nissans, never had an engine related problem. Knock on wood.
Correction, had a rotary motor blow while on Amsoil, but there isnt any lubricant...
This isnt going to go well. Havent you read the stories of the guys that demand the dealer to not allow anyone to drive the truck, call them the minute the truck arrives, transporter is only allowed to unload the truck off their truck, etc etc?? If these instructions are not followed they will...
Seems like alot of SuperCabs suffer from door rattles. If it makes you feel better my 2013 SuperCab rattled and my 2019 SuperCab is beginning to rattle as well. I use electrical tape on it and the rattle is 98% gone. Its a small price to pay to have the better version Raptor, SuperCab over a...
Thats so crazy! Its a nice truck but no way its worth 100k. Where abouts are you? I know a couple guys that paid around $95k for theirs. I tried to show them my 2019 purchase at $67k but they didnt want to look at it. Haha.
I've found alot of trails in Tahoe are closed for the winter. Mormon Emigrant trail is popular for snow offroading. Its off of 50 towards South Lake Tahoe. We were there couple weeks ago, decent snow, alot of ice, and slush when it was raining.
Dealers can get away with it because stupid people continue to pay MSRP or markups. I'm in CA and I've bought 2 different Raptors in state for near invoice.
Was this MET or somewhere else? I was in Tahoe area this weekend and we were on MET Saturday and Sunday. We got stuck Saturday night, Sunday was alot of rain so all that snow became slush. I was there in a white 2019 Super Cab.
I am in the minority that I think it looks better with non painted fender flares. Non painted ones show the flares more and painted flares look like an F150 and not a Raptor. To each their own tho.
imagine losing a key or having it stolen. They'll have access to both vehicles, and its gonna cost a whole lot more to reprogram both cars vs just one.
It can be done without removing the shocks if you have the right spring compressor. I removed the whole assembly because we have a wall mounted spring compressor here at work.
Since you are in San Jose try and get some buddies together and go out to Hollister and try out your different modes, you can learn alot about your truck there.
Sport mode is designed to hold gears longer and shift "sportier" so it will feel a bit more harsh. People complaining about harsh shifting in sport mode, heres any idea, use normal mode.
I have no complaints about the 10 speed, I'm happy with it. I like it more then the older 6 speed.
Ive had 2 SuperCabs. Love the SuperCab. Lower fuel capacity is such a first world problem/complaint. Its never bothered me. I fill up once a week if I drive the Raptor, fill up once a week if I drive the RX-7, or any other car. Just means I'm paying more for gas to drive the truck. Being in the...
