Ha ha ha. I remember a long time ago when at 16 me pops said drive cool and dont get any tickets.. LOL right. In 6 months I had 24 points and the dearborn cops came to my house to arrest me, had to sell my car to my parents for 375 bail so tehy wouldnt take me to jail. Lost my state driving...
Ya they are, I have had mine for 10 years... Since I did fastener torque testing I used one many times cause we couldnt get some torque to yield on many things. With the new electric DC nut runners its now easy to get max torque. Probably cheaper to ship mine to people lol... Not sure if auto...
One thing to check is the fender liners. They have a lot of stuff attached to them and are flimsy as hell. I found them making a lot of noise when i tapped on them with my hand. I added a lot of sound damping material to quite it. The left one seems to be the worse.
Try JBA's side exit system. I love it and for 360 delivered to the house it was a great deal and it sounds great!!!

Have had a set of WSI springs for a year now with 20k miles and 3 hard runs on them and I carry 400lbs in the back and the springs are fantastic so far!!! Never ran Deavers but, Just from what I have seen with Deavers I would go with WSI springs.
!. I recommend the rear springs first since the wheel hop is crazy bad on that stock spring.
2. rear shocks first unless you can afford all 4 at once.
3. Front shocks(if you did the rear first)
4. Bump stop is a must if you are planning on hitting anything big bump wise :)
As far as...
Absoeffinglootly!!! Thats the reason a turbo is better. the 6.2 hits its peak tq(430) at 4500 rpm, the turbo 3.5 hits peak tq(365) at 2500 rpm. That the stock v6 and stock 6.2.
They are testing a V6 now whit 400+hp and 450tq now.
What type alarm is it? you should be able to download something on it. Im telling ya I am very positive that the alarm is the cause of what you are going through.
Need to see if Noah (http://www.fordraptorforum.com/members/the-car-stereo-company/) can help a bit since he installs these all the time. If you have the install instructions it should say what is needed to disarm it.
Yes, many times its is the cause of the problems and being that this problem is intermittent it would be my first thing to do. As frustrating as it is for you to have this happen think about the guy that is trying to duplicate it... I have had it happen to me many times. Disabling that alarm...
