Your dealer can still lie to you if you ask them to confirm with the zone rep. They call up the zone rep and ask if they have an allocation, the zone rep says negative you do not. The dealership then turns around and tells you, yeah we still have a allocation. It is that easy. How are you ever...
Did you pay your deposit with a cc? You should have. And if you did refute, the transaction with your cc company. Hiring an attorney might cost almost as much as your deposit so that road could be a dead end. Transferring to someone might be your only option but even then the dealer could still...
This **** won't be over in another year. Might not be as bad but there is no way that chip/supply shortages/inflation/w/e else will be all ironed out in a year, no way. Maybe in 2024 if we are lucky.
when they ask for a "non-refundable" deposit, most of them will accept a credit card payment. Pay with a card, don't be a nub and give them cash or a cashier's check, this gives you no options. If down the road you want it back and they wont give it to you, refute the transaction with your cc...
if anyone is wondering, the email from Ford really doesn't mean squat.
On another note, is there a way, besides asking the dealer for it, to get the zone reps information to call them and find out if the dealer actually has an allocation? That seems to be the only way to actually find out if...
Are all the black interiors coming as pictured with that much wrinkly leather? Or is that just a one off? Being as new as I assume it is, it should not look like that yet.
Not that the stock 37 wheel looks bad by any means, but I will agree with you that you could probably pick a better looking wheel with all of the options out there, but I thought the tires for the 37 Raptor were designed and special for that truck alone and like 10+ lbs. lighter per tire. Kind...
this will be a quick fix for sure, as someone already mentioned here F150 is Ford's best selling model. I would imagine there would be no way that Ford lets it go and doesn't sell another F150 for months on end. I would expect a fix almost ASAP.
my dealer just called and said I had to drop the 37 package all together to have the truck built. Was not even an option to get the car in the 3rd quarter of next year with the 37 package. It was drop the 37 package or do not get it built.
What made the decision for me is the warranty issues. If you put 37's on a 35 truck it is known that if it ever came down do it, parts of you warranty could be voided. Why gamble? For 2022 the 37's is only $5250 more than the 35's. When you are already spending $75/$70k+ on a truck what is...
that is what my dealership told me, it is always possible that they do not know what they are talking about.
I will be at the dealership later today, then I can confirm/deny. I might have started this thread pre-maturely.
you can order the 2022 raptor in star white
online configurator is still for MY 2021 and it only shows oxford white, for 2022 when you place an order at the dealership you have an option for star white
I have watched different youtube videos explaining/showing the differences. I am leaning towards star white atm. What would you chose on a 2022 raptor....star white or oxford white? Any other points of emphasis would also be appreciated.
How tf are you supposed to be able to tow 8,200 lbs. When it is sagging that much already with a trailer hauling some pallets? Thinking inboard surf boat we be a no-go. And how can they have a 8,200 tow rating in the first place, surely they tested for this stuff. I feel like if you had 8,200...
I have read a couple different articles, but nothing official from Ford, that says mounting 37's on a 35 raptor will void warranty on certain things if it ever came down to it. Can anyone here confirm/deny that?
