For what you're after, the options are indeed limited. I think the ADD pro bolt on will be your best bet. I had an ADD bumper on my old truck for a few years and it held up well.
I agree with @nikhsub1, not a fan of the SVC bolt on. They should make a Mojave style bolt on bumper. That would give ADD a run for their money. For other sleek/stealthy bolt on prerunner bumpers, you could look into Krazy House customs, RPG Offroad, and Icon.
I want to paint my raw skid plate to match the rest of my SVC baja bumper. Steel-it is certainly the cheapest option, but is it as durable as powdercoating or line-x? What are your thoughts?
Selling front and rear shocks with almost 5,000 miles on them. Shafts and seals are still in excellent condition. Swapped the 600 lb/in coils for some 550 lb/in coils I ordered from RPG Offroad. New coils give a more compliant on road ride, but I can still dial up enough compression when needed...
Discount Tire wouldn't touch my factory beadlock wheels until I removed the beauty rings myself. Not sure if your HAVE to take them off in order to set/break the bead, but I'm sure it would prevent some tech from scratching the hell out of it when trying.
I would try the following in no particular order:
Make sure spare tire is nice and snug ( don't want it rubbing on your axle either)
Check torque settings on leaf springs, shackles, and u bolts
Check torque settings on wheels
Check torque settings on bed bolts.
Slap on the rear factory...
I’m almost certain it will be trouble free. This is off of Cobb’s Instagram page. That would lead me to believe that one of the bumpers used in test fitting the FMIC was the ADD pro frame cut bumper.
I was unaware I could recalibrate the ACC at the dealership. That's good news. Mine has been acting up some after I went with a FMIC. Especially the collision warning. Thanks Nick
