    Both B&M and PA dipsticks install in the same fashion , difference between the 2 is, B&M all fittings screw together, PA dip stick adapter screws into trans and the rest is pressed in using rubber seal, both are nice products, cost close to same, just up to what makes you more comfortable using.

    Ruger , No did not have to transfer the hash marks,I think is due to the aluminum spacer that’s screwed into trans, they calculated the distance for it. This would be the easiest way to see what’s going on, the only difference is the rubber sleeve vs the 2 o-rings, (pic of sleeve)...

    PA changed the design , no longer 2 o-rings, one rubber sleeve. Just installed one of the PA, because of B&M being out of stock.

    Finally installed my PA TRANS DIPSTICK, had to make my own bracket being I have catch cans, and it’s right we’re there kit installs.

    It was done to help bring the Trans up to Temp faster as well as help the oil to the air cooler ,by attempting to reduce the oil temp to about 200 deg before passing it through the oil to air cooler. I could be wrong with the temp numbers, but that's the theory.

    Yes you can, and you can install a larger trans cooler, others have done it, and or added to the factory one, but the factory one should be fine unless your hard on your truck,

    Go to there web site, and take a look at the beam pattern on there covers, will give you a better idea, they have a new cover out, spot/euro combo. But im in favor of the euro.

    Got my truck to the dealer for the trans recall, replaced the Molded Lead Frame, and they installed my B&M Trans pan for me, Just have to install the PA dipstick when weather breaks.

    It can happen, depending on install there may be some other damage if they try a quick snatch and grad, my camera is mounted in the dot matrix of the windshield, doesn’t stand out even walking by the truck. I would think if there in your truck, there gonna look for other items .
