    GEN 1 Leadframe

I would check with your dealer about the lead frame programming, the recall gives the dealer the right to reprogrm the trans before actually having to replace the lead frame, with the reprogramming it also will not allow the truck to shift to 1st gear if it should fail. That’s fords way of...

    GEN 1 Spring removal

I’m doing the same project , your better of setting your shock to mid perch, then compressing the new spring , install it and your top hat, then slowly remove spring compressors, you will have more leeway to work with, than being confined to space. But that’s all up to your comfort zone of working.

    brake issue

Haven’t looked up to see if there’s a rebuild kit, we just replace them, then use the scanner as in your post , scanner pretty much guides you through the rest, haven’t had to replace any of the abs, as of yet, that’s where it gets expensive. Back to square one, the problem is air in the...

    GEN 1 Spring removal

Stock springs at low perch, you can lay it down and use an impact to remove the nut, if they are at mid perch, or Geiser springs, compress them before removing nut.

    brake issue

Just replaced one on a 2014 f150 in work, if the most inner seals fail, hard to find, if the rear most seal fails, you get fluid between the booster and master cylinder, and sometimes have to loosen it just a little to see the leak.

    brake issue

That sounds like a master cylinder problem. There’s a series of seals in the unit, depending on what is bad, you will have no signs of leaks. Then the other expensive side of it is the ABS MODULE, fingers crossed.

What did u do to your raptor today?

What did u do to your raptor today?

I would get a piece of shrink tubing, and unscrew the braided line from the bracket and install it on the braided line, because the dipstick tube is mounted ridged, and the motor is rubber mounted, so you will get movement there. Or put a zip tie around the 2 hoses pulling under the other.

What did u do to your raptor today?

@Skyfog, do your self a put some kind of insulation around that heater hose, that braided line will start to rub through.

    Front license plate sucks

Almost 3 yrs, no problems, even went through state inspection with it there, but we all know there are cops that overlook small/ stupid things, then you have the ones who just want a reason to bust balls, and can’t leave out how one speaks to the officer. Fingers crossed.

    Front license plate sucks

NJ is a 2 plate state, mine is in my windshield , being i didn't want to drill my skid plate on my ADD bumpers, went to lowes and bought 4 small suction cups, and pushed them through the holes on the plate, then stuck it to far right corner of windshield.

    Modifying transmission dip stick

Good job Ruger, I did the same thing when I put the CAI in my truck, had to make a bracket to support the heater hoses. Those studs come in handy.
