Is the extended warranty from Flood pretty consistent in price, or how are people negotiating with them to get a lower price? I've seen anywhere from $2400 to $1600 that was mentioned here in this thread.
I've never bought a warranty for any car before, but honestly, for around $2k and...
Old post, but one of the possible options I am deciding between right now is 3.5 vs 4.0 in the rear. What did you end up going with and how did it work out for you?
Now that this has been out for a while, anyone have any updated thoughts/reviews on it? I like the idea of trying to keep the live valve tech while getting as much travel out of the system possible. As mentioned by another poster, I wish they had just done a full replacement spindle with their...
Looking to get some help on deciding how I should option out a mid travel kit. I would like to get the most travel out of the suspension before having to cut the bed and putting a bypass rack in there. If I was somehow able to retain good use of my bed space still, then I may consider going...
That's what I have read. I went on Tundra forums to see what ex Raptor owners said and went on Raptor forums to see what ex Tundra owners said. That gave me the best perspective on things. Everyone who had a Raptor said it's best truck experience you can get off the lot. Guys who got Tundras...
Look, I don't want to get into some ridiculous debate on why a person would consider a Tundra and a Raptor at the same time.
On the Raptor facebook group recently, there was a poll on who's had cam phaser issues and who hasn't. 800 people voted and 200 of those 800 people said they had cam...
Looking to get a raptor and I never knew extended warranty was so cheap on these trucks. With the cam phaser issues, it almost seems like for ~$2k, it's almost a no brainer.
Buying used almost only makes sense at the moment if the truck is modified. Otherwise, you're talking about $5k or a max of $10k difference in price between a used one and a comparable brand new one.
That said. If anyone has a modified one they are looking to get rid of, let me know! Haha.
Trying to look for a Raptor right now. It is quite unfortunate, as a buyer, how much prices have gone up. From what I have seen, you can basically get a 2020 for close enough or at MSRP still. Used prices almost seem more inflated than new prices. Seems like anything that's a second gen is...
Never had a Ford before, but I am surprised at how cheap the warranties are. Given how common the cam phaser issue and how costly it is to repair, it's almost a no brainer to get the max warranty option.
If I had to guess, Ford is going to try and be semi competitive/close on pricing with the TRX, so maybe base price MSRP will be around $80k? Fully optioned out would probably be closer to $95k. At those prices, realistically for me, I'd be more interested in seeing how the hybrid engines work...
Been going back and forth between a Raptor or a Tundra. I had been hesitant at getting into a Raptor because of the cam phaser issues, but I am just going to pull the trigger on one and get extended warranty. If it really becomes an issue, I figure I can always sell it to get the next gen...
