I just replaced the stock resonator with the Cora’s resonator delete kit. I love it so much more. Little deeper and louder. No Doreen and nothing crazy. My buddy has the Borla A. and it’s too loud for me!
Looking into high flow cats now.....
My Gen 1 didn’t have a bed liner when I bought it new in 2011. I had a lineX installed. I liked the lineX. Was only $450 I think. Only thing that sucked is losing the truck for the day and it not being factory warranted.
My 18’ came with factory bed liner and I like it also. Especially...
My first gen Raptor had the sunroof fail 3 times. I had an SCT tune on that but when I brought my truck in, the tech said it was ok because the tune had no effect on the sunroof. He said if the engine or trans or computer has issues, then I’ll have a problem. I suffered the loss in my GTR...
Good on you for trying something new but IMO, really takes away from the truck. Spend the cash and get a prerunner bumper if you really want that look.
Let me try to get the number. My buddy gave it to me but I trashed it. It’s in Downey. I’ll get it and get back to you... I remember the owners name is Mike...
I just went with their brackets. Seemed easier to me. It was plug and play to an extent. They come premade with one and off switches. I just clipped them off then range them to the upfitter switches. It was very simple. Yes the hidden light bar is also Rough Country. I love it
I have the Rough Country triple fog light kit. This set is completely adjustable. I was able to space them out so they don’t rub or hit anything. Very happy with them. They also are pretty good on pricing.
The high
The high beams definitely reaches out further but not by a large margin. Biggest thing I noticed with this bar is while the high beams stretch a little further, it’s more like isolated or like a spot light beam.
The bar is more of a flood. It really lightens up everything but it...
Sorry for the delay, so far so good. Too busy with work but lots of rain lately in SoCal and no issues. I have one snow off reading day in big bear and zero issues.
That’s exactly how I wired them except for the light bar.....
On my first Gen 1 raptor, it came with a factory bed extender. When I got my Gen 2 it didn’t have one. I talked the dealership into ordering one. So I have the OEM bed extender. I like it but it makes it hard to reach the power button of my bed lights...
I first got the Peragon cover. It looked great, I liked the metal cover, it pulls out pretty easily, and it doesn’t take up much space. I ended up hating it. Biggest reason was because if you have any sort of load in the bed and if it shifts, due to the way the cover opens, it might now...
I’ve been FBO and E85 on my GTR for probably 4 years now. I was turned to Lucas oil’s E85 fuel conditioner. I run it in every tank. I havent seen any issues especially since I barely drive the GTR. A few years ago, I opened up my fuel basket to see how my filters looked, and they were very...
Like Dan Thomas, I installed the Cora’s resonator delete on my new Raptor. Little more pronounced sound, and it’s a little deeper. My buddy at work has the Corsa attack on his and damn it’s loud. For me at least. My GTR is loud so I didn’t want my truck to also be that loud....
Hey dude, I was in the same boat as you. I’m in Burbank and I ended getting mine from Sunrise Ford in Fontana. It’s a little drive but they sell the 18’s for MSRP. 19’s are marked up anywhere you lol. Sunrise in Fontana have a lot of Raptor inventory also. Call and ask for Tommy. Super...
Google, “Turtle wax clear coat pen.” While I haven’t used this on the carbon in my SCREW, my BMW S1K trackbike is full carbon fiber. I have had some nargly scratches and the pen works very well to fill it in and hide it. Might be worth a try...
It just all depends on the buyer. To some it’s worth it. To others its not. I looked into 19’s prior to grabbing my 18’ and to me, it wasn’t worth the mark up for the 19’s. Im not a crazy hardcore off-reader. While I have fun in the truck, and I doubt I’ll take my brand new $78k truck rock...
I have a 28 ft. Magic boat that I tow with my SCREW. Boat, trailer, fuel, and all on the boat I’m around 6500 lbs. I know boats are a little easier to tow since it’s balanced out on the trailer but my truck pulls mine with zero issues....
