Just did a 600 mile run on tuesday 95% on highway. A lot of big hills and 75mph. Got 14.8 mpg.
Gotta get acceptable mileage when our gas runs about $ 7 a gallon
That block is for taming some NVH Ford found when testing. You find them in a lot of vehicles. They do something when new, but when the rubbers are broken/ old, it just rattles real bad.
Yes BC requires a front plate. There is a fine for not having it. You will harrassed for not having it.
I have been harassed many times for no doors on my early bronco. Broncos were available back in the day without doors so can't do anything about it.
Installed my new 4" round LED lights up front. These are a spot light. The old ones were supposed to be spot lights but didnt spot that well. I also modified SW1 upfitter relay to turn on the new lights with the high beams. I didn't like having to hit the switch and the high beam switch to kill...
You say it blows " as soon as key is inserted into ignition" ... do you mean as soon as you turn the key to the run position ?
There is the Fuel Pump Control Module powered by that fuse which runs the pump.
Any codes?
Yes you have a vacuum leak.
You can pull and plug the vacuum line at the solenoid and that will engage the IWEs all the time. Same thing as IWE delete. Your 2WD and 4WD will work fine.
You can also try just unplug solenoid not sure if it will set a code.
Went down to Tillamook OR to get a reprieve from all the wildfire smoke at home. Had a great time ripping around Sandlake dunes and kicking back on the beach. I think some of the quad riders were shocked when they saw a Raptor out there ripping around. Quite happy with how the rebuilt shocks...

I can imagine it would have been outrageous.
I've been a certified technician for 40 yrs and intermittent issues are always a pain.
I got lucky on this one... it acted up when I was able to test
Fixed my random AC issue tonight.
I replaced the compressor with a new unit about 1 year ago. Has worked great since. About 3 weeks ago system stopped cooling, just warm air from vents. The next day it worked fine. This happened a few times over a couple of weeks. Checked codes and such, found...
Thanks to all...
I bought the kayak saddles, they are for a regular roofrack. All of the other frame work I built. I made a front hoop mount out of aluminum that uses the forward box mount bolt. They are wide enough to still carry plywood if needed. The rear frame uses the bed extender threaded...

Held them secure for the test run of 15 miles of twisty gravel road to a mountain lake.
Worked very well, so now to paint it.
Ill start with ... I have not done these shocks.... have only done Gen 1s
Looks to me... discharge shock ( should be done already) Push floating piston down and remove retaining clip. Put some rags into shock to protect piston. Use a blow gun into charge port of reservoir to blow out piston.
An update and recap of my stock shock rebuild.
I picked up a set of used stock shocks a little over a year ago. Sourced all the parts and rebuilt them myself. Added Schrader valves and added flutter stack valving.
I installed the rears last summer but couldn't find the time to do the fronts...
