^ good luck with your fix should be simple enough tho.
I see from your paper plate you live by me? I am in Simi Valley. If you ever want to hit up the desert let me know!
Bought mine a 2018 SCREW 802A @ Penske in La Mesa (San Diego) @ MSRP back in September of 2017. No hassles and straight fwd. Sales man said they only sell Raptors @ MSRP.
Now the rest of CA was a joke.
Why would a dealer put spacers on a new truck from the factory?? Something does not sound right.... Even if they did they would have had to disclose that on the Window Sticker with an additional comment and price listed....
Something seems off about this.....
Yea your front sits really high.... I have Geiser springs up front and Deaver +3s out back on true Toyo MT 35s and my truck sits level @ 43.25" all around.
If comparing to the OEM's I would say you can definitely here a slight hum but it took me a few to actually realize it was the tires, that's how slight the noise is.
I am sure if they wear weird or you don't rotate often they might get noisy but from a brand new standpoint not bad at all for...
I was in the same boat but decided to stick with 35's....
Why? Because I use the truck off road enough that I did not want to sacrifice it's ability with rubbing or destroying my fenders....
I like how 37's look but to be honest my new Toyo Mud Terrains look bad ass and look much more...
^ Keep us posted.
Luckily my issue is just the small rivets and nothing else.... I still love the bumper and if I have to dab a little black paint on the rivets then that's what I will end up doing....
I have an ADD Stealth Street Fighter bumper on my 18.
I really like the look and style of the bumper but all my rivets are rusted too.
I will probably just try to paint over them myself but everyone is right for the price of these things their should be no issues with something as lame as rust.
Interesting I did not look at that but I greased mine up really good yesterday including the seal and the rails and so far quiet as a mouse....
If it acts up again I will check out those screws you are talking about.
I have the panoroof on my 18'.
I truly did not want it but it was not a deal breaker either when I was purchasing the truck....
I have taken the truck on multiple off-road adventures and yea the roof sounds like shit but has not leaked so far.... When I off-road I literally gotta keep it...
pretty much what you can expect running that tire and rim set up on stock suspension out back.
As others have said you can cut fender, new fenders or add Deaver +3s
I would just start with the front first and see how you like it. a 1.5" collar really doesnt do much IMO.
I did that first and front was still lower than back. I went with 2.5" geiser springs and then front sat too high so I added Deaver +3s and truck sits exactly level at all 4 corners and...
Not interior rattles most of the issues come from the sun roof. If you get one without a sun roof you are fine. If you get one with a sun roof you will experience some noises.
