I just had such a good experience with my 19 F150 3.5 that i just imagined the raptor would be above a beyond.. The way ti drives and rides amazin. the experience has been.. meh...
They cut me a check for replacement shock, but there are number of other issues which I will not repeat on this chat. But ya rear clunk fixed with replacement. I got the old one which I plan on sending to Fox for rebuild. once I have a full set to swap.
Fox is good about sending repair report...
so do you know what is being "calibrated" like does it need to know where the "sag" point is when truck is sitting on level ground without any additional weight?
not to attach, but how can you say that? you're OK with saying "its nature of the beast" after paying $90k+ for a truck? i get it there's nothing to compare it to, but ford will lose significant percentage of it's client the moment someone else comes out with something similar but more...
The whole point of the antenna is to know your height. You know when you drive into those indoor garage and they have those height bars?
It gives you a guide for your truck roof height. I believe the antenna is couple of inches higher than the roof.
That was what Ford was thinking. I keep...
Better they get rid of it. Since they can't seem to make it it in the center. My 22 raptor is not in the center. So it makes it feel like my alignment is off
Thanks OP! I only had to do the module. Not the other stuff
Took module off and put a fat piece of gray door seal foam. Worked but ended up hearing another rattle which turned out to be a cable banging on the inside metal. Same type of seal on the inside for rid it the the rattle.
If...
Did a quick search and did not find the answer. If I purchase a set of new OEM shocks to swap and send old set to send to Fox 4 rebuild. Does it need to be calibrated or is it just plug and play?
Just a hair under 40,000 miles. I bought the truck at 39,700 miles I noticed it immediately. What TSB cover the cost of that even when ford declares it as a wear and tear?
well. my new to me CPO Gold 2022 raptor came with the clunking sound. took it to dealer and told me i have to replace the front shock.. it's OUT OF POCKET since it's a wear and tear time. completely BS. Never in my experience had I had a manufacturer tell me shock is a wear and tear item...
my 22 has it and I leave the shade open all the time. I will be adding 20-15% ceramic tint to keep the temp lower, but I love it. When it's sunny that shit is open. I rarely drive my Boxster with the top up, unless my wife complains about messing up her hair.
my 19 F150 didnt' have it and I...
This. the way fuel sits and sloshes around, if youre going uphill. that last 6 galons will prevent the pump from sucking up air. terrible design, I've had my truck go from 100 DTE to 0 after i parked on a hill. I've also pushed it to -30 miles DTE and i filled up 35gals.
I just picked up a CPO 22 and it slams in to 2nd gear when slowing down on engine break. I mean slam, like loud clunk like I got rear ended. Taking it to dealer, but damn.. you would have thought CPO process would have caught this issue and resolved it? I would be afraid of buying anything...
