Just find some swanky 2019-2020 beadlocks, they look great IMHO. There are plenty of cool looking wheels in 17” if you want to go zero offset. In the +25 range there are a few solid choices as well.
I paid $15 plus tax for a 25 pack of the M6x16 stainless security screws and a bit from Amazon. That is the size for the BD lights.

Real men drive manual transmission trucks offroad, I have been for the last 30 years in my Bronco and other vehicles. Fitting a hand throttle for rock crawling adds another level of skill into the equation with the manual. The Raptor is my first automatic that I will use offroad.
There’s...
When I was shopping back in July I couldn’t find a used 2019 or 2020 for under $50K for a Scab 800A without options, a new one was $55K MSRP. I found a few used 802A in the mid $60’s. I probably could’ve saved $5-8K buying used, but that hardly seemed worth it.
I’ve used security nuts in the past. I just received security screws for my upcoming Baja Designs lights from Amazon. You can buy the stainless screws in bulk for far cheaper than the light companies sell them for.
BD sells some pyramid style nuts I was also looking at, but I’m a little...
I was talking about bleeding the hydraulic fluid, not purging for the nitrogen. On my Swayaways you invert the shocks and there is a bleeder screw on the top so you squeeze fluid out as you fully tighten the cap on the body.
I usually wire in a rear winch lead direct to the main battery on my trucks with a set of quick disconnect jumper cables, I see no reason why I couldn’t use them in reverse to power my truck if needed. It wouldn’t surprise me if the trailer battery circuit went through something else making...

$75 for the front doors on Amazon, I think $60 for the rears on a Screw. I’ll probably purchase a set for my Scab. I like the passenger side handle idea, but my experience is it’s hard to get aftermarket paint to hold up well on pieces...
How did you bleed the assembly to ensure there wasn’t any air inside? I would think in that type of setup you’d almost have to assemble it submerged in a tub of fluid, or at least have it full to the point where you’re squeezing it out as you assembled the pieces. I used to rebuild the Fox...
Depending on the use I’ve seen some hitch mounts that use the factory tow hook on one side. Welding up a bar to span two of those with a center mounted hitch wouldn’t be hard, but if you can make due with one it keeps the load closer to the frame...
I wonder if there is an easy way to switch where it received power from at the fuse block so it would be off with the ignition. My VW Touareg is also power off without the key.
Looks cool if one is into that sort of thing. Kind of reminds me of the Lightning guys who had stickers with their build number on the bumper though.
I had a numbered Volvo C30 Polestar with a factory numbered plate on the dashboard, I thought that was cool. I miss that car.
I've thought about that kit to secure the doors, seems like I'd just end up with a broken window from a determined thief. I do want to add the shock sensor module to the factory alarm.
My brother ran the Wildpeak tires on his 2016 F-150 and was very happy with them. I think his were D rated and he had them on the truck for about 25K before selling it for a F-250. They still looked good in the pics when he listed it.
The Ford ESP is good in all states, but in Florida and one other state the Auto Dealer Association lobbied to get legislation that the warranties can only be purchased from within the state to keep the prices high. If you moved in to Florida with the warranty in place it’s fine, but in Florida...
