Thanks .. I'm not ready yet. What I really want to see are some Dragy times of a Gen 3 running either of these tunes .. something that neither company appear to provide. I care more about actual performance of 0-60, 1/8 mile then looking at a chart that shows RWHP improvements.
I have 91 octane max. in MT. Wondering what performance improvement I would see running everrything stock @91 octane with your Tune vs adding the S&B Intake with your Tune (which goosetuned is using in his 11 sec raptor)
also, I have the 37PP and a 2021
No interest in adding anything like...
the bronco in Matt's recovery vid is using the Milestar Patagonia X/T and the tire seems to grip really well in conjunction with the bronco's traction system (similar to the raptor's)
has anybody found timed (not seat-of-the-pants) 0-60 and 1/8 mile comparisons? would also be interested in some passing speed comparison. Graphs are nice to prove an increase but more interested in real-world performance.
Ford dealer has decided they will replace the entire muffler assembly. they read that sometimes the tsb does not fix anything. parts suppose to be delivered in one week and once arrive will see how far out their techs are booked.
truck going in tomorrow at Ford . they told me they want it for the day to do a more thorough check of the exhaust system. will also see if they can fix the rattling/loose wire right above my head near the speaker. truck sounds like a Yugo on start-up :(
My Ford dealer is worthless.
After waiting 1 hour, they informed me they did not receive any instructions on how to perform the fix so all they did was try adjusting the existing valves and reset the PCM. No effect of the exhaust rattle but it did wipe out my Carplay connection so I had to...
From Ford press releases, YT interview with Ford Raptor engineer, etc when the 2021 was announced .. this is why I got the 37PP versus doing it aftermarket. Ford engineer mentioned if people stick 37" tires on a 35, they would also need to install the 37-specific built/tuned shocks if they...
Mine has the 37 PP which came with the BFG All Terrain KO2 37x12.5x17LT 116S Load Range C. I run them at 38PSI.
According to the press releases for Ford, these tires were specifically developed for the Gen 3
If you bought a 35, my frame and shocks/suspension tuning are different then yours so...
Just did the install of the shroud, bracket and coolant cover. I had no alignment issues with the intake bracket. I was able to bend it so the holes lined up and I secured it with gaffer tape. hardest part was delicately turning the bracket bolt so it would catch the threads on the lower...
before spending $100 on the shroud AND not concerned how the inside of my engine bay looks, wondering if anybody has
* removed the shroud and left it off as shown on https://cobbtuning.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/PRS/pages/2739634299/Gen3+Raptor+Issues+Intake+Collapse "Open and Not problematic"...
took mine in March 2nd. Prior to the appt, I provided the info from this thread (THANKS!) so they had some basis of understanding.
They confirmed the issue and fix and supposedly ordered the parts. Have not heard from them so figure I'll call in a couple weeks
No dealer involvement required for my 2021. My truck updated the ford software automatically overnight as did my iPhone 13PM (16.3)
started up my truck and carplay started automatically as always and the map automatically went to full screen and the music from Apple music started auto as...
I paid 2415 back in Jan 22 . my issue was that nobody was interested that I would trust and/or the prices were much higher. I also did not want to work with a broker who took my money and put it out to bid to anybody-transport service. I wanted a direct relationship with the shipper. I guess I...
I guess the correct Ford terminology is Terrain Mode and I know for Slippery it engages 4 Auto, AdvanceTrac, changes the throttle response (much slower) and the shift points. I also use Sport mode when driving in dry conditions on the mtns roads since it increases throttle response, shitig...
curious to see dyno numbers on a 37PP with no intercooler.
I use the drive mode system often Example winter here so in slippery mode to get up our road. How does the tune affect the Ford's sw algorithms for throttle response depending on the drive mode selected
