Man I love silver. Two of my last trucks were silver and then I got black for my g2. It looked good for about 4 hours. I got silver for my Lightning and ALMOST got silver for my g3.
Instead, I got Avalanche and now I’m regretting it because I feel like every single 2023 sold is in that color...
Mine has an audible rattle, almost like the cam phaser rattle but from under the cab not hood and never stops when idling, and definitely isn’t something normal. My 100k mile g2 was much smoother.
I have this and the dealer can feel/hear it but can’t figure out why. They said there is nothing they can do for it but I told them I don’t think rattling that you can hear from 10ft away and enough to shake the seats and cubbies is acceptable. It’s very noticeable and multiple people riding...
It’s just Ford factory settings. I’m not sure how different it looks than an update but I can’t see it causing issues unless they can explicitly blame the problem on forscan changes
I have a rattle/shake and exhaust leak in my truck (300 miles) and called around to get the truck in for work. When I called over a week ago, one quote was Feb 28 and the other dealership said Mar 15. Neither had loaners and said I would just have to figure out a rental and get reimbursed...
I'm sure it's state specific but it probably is illegal most places. Although, in a day of grill-mounted clearance lights, side clearance marker lights, etc and now all of these cars with lights in their wheels, wheel wells, underbody, etc I'm sure nobody even thinks twice about it. Also illegal...
With the amount of time these things are sitting in railyards, I expected and was greeted with the same. Any iron remover or even many wheel cleaners will remove it.
I switched to Underdog for the coating on this truck and used their decon spray

No luck for me. One big change for me going g2 to g3 is that the mirrors are so small that I can't see as much, pretty much either need them up to see other cars or down to back into spots
I've been thinking of doing a wrap on the flares, but just PPF. The flares on my last truck got beat up pretty bad. I was thinking of even doing a satin/stealth on those and the bumpers/grille.
