If it's Tomball Ford, get ready to buy their extended warranty for over 5 grand which is like paying an adm. Don't believe "Jorge" and look at the comments of his YouTube channel. If it is him.
2nd UPDATE: I called my shop and let them know the clunk came back after a couple of weeks. I asked them if there was any kind of warranty. 2 days later they called me back and scheduled me to come in for 2 days later this month. The shop reached out to Icon and they will be disassembling my...
John @Specialtyperformanceparts is definitely a great asset to this forum and the Raptor community. He helped me out awhile back and we were able to troubleshoot a minor issue I was having.
If you think you may ever have the itch to go mid travel then yes, you should skip. You can probably get more for your money by doing the SDI EClik system with your factory shocks. I have the FRS and I do like them, however I don't ever intend on going mid travel.
To get 5 years out of a coating, the car would probably have to be garaged kept and meticulously maintained. By the time your 5 years are up you'd likely want to have it freshened up. I do my own ceramic coating, but I keep my truck outside. I'll likely do another light polish to get the few pin...
I just had it done on our XLT work truck and my service advisor said taking the body off the chassis wasn't required, but it's fixed now. Long term who knows, I just sold truck for other reasons a few days later.
It can look okay and works on some colors. If you intend to off-road the Raptor I wouldn't do it. Those areas are plastic/matte finish for a reason. They tend to get abused out on the trail or road rash from dirt roads. You can run mud flaps but it might take away from the look your going for...
This happened to me! I felt my plastic was prepped properly and I used CarPro eraser before I applied. You're right though. Once it's on and turns white it's near impossible to get off. I reached out to CarPro (Sky's the Limit) and was send the Ultima Tire and Trim. It was a nice gesture, but I...
I'm a detail freak too....I HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE WITH CAR PRO DELUX on my plastics. I would never use it again. It turned my plastics chalky white and I had to replace them. Not sure why.
You by chance watch Obsessed Garage with Matt M on YouTube?
I like what you did other than the fact I...
My two pennies since my name is Ricardo (Richard en Ingles). The factory wheels are nice and if you plan on off-roading not having any poke will save your paint. My wheels are +6mm and I got road rash on my quarter panels awhile back. I was ceramic coated and able to save my paint as most damage...
I use that track armor when I go off-road. Helps with road rash. I put it on my rear quarter panels. It really helps and now I run with RokBlok mud flaps as well. Its temporary and people do look at it funny. I don't care though, I would highly recommend it.
If these dopes only care about exhaust sound they didn't need to review the Raptor. The Raptor is more than just an exhaust. It was a stupid review/comparison. I didn't get any value out of it and it was as bad as Roman from TFL.
