One good day in the garage and I bet you could have most of those aftermarket parts off and the truck almost back to stock. Selling those separately is probably your best bet for making up some of your losses.
Relocates the rear sunroof drains from inside the rockers to outside. It's thought that the extra moisture from these drains in the original location may lead to premature corrosion.
I will definitely update once I get them on! I had also considered Icon Stage 4 but just couldn't justify it for...
I don't think many around here are going to be able to provide valuable input on this... One of those topics where you'll probably have to do the experiment yourself and report back with your findings.
I would assume that if you do anything more than hop the curb in the Starbucks drive-thru...
Hey guys. I decided to reroute my drain tubes through the holes that @matrix243 elected to fill. I used a wire straw cleaner to hook the hoses. Once they were close enough I switched to the 90° pick to pull them the rest of the way through. Seems like this should work find but I will watch to...
Decided to pull the hoses through this seam as that was the only place I could locate them. Thanks to everyone for the guidance. Glad to finally have this one done.
I was able to locate them through the little hole in the front of the rear wheel wheels! Now I just need to figure out how im going to move them. Wire clotheshanger possibly.
I currently have 0 offset Methods but have a set of +25 waiting to be mounted. The 0 offset pokes a little too much for my liking. The only disadvantage of the +25 is that you have less clearance for aftermarket UCAs.
My Lowe's didn't have the Zip tape so I just got wider Gorilla tape, we'll see how it holds up. I peeled the panel back from the C pillar but I'm lost. Where does one have to dig to find the drain tubes?
I just used Gorilla tape I had sitting around. Probably gonna get something wider tomorrow and redo it. Is that Zip tape holding up well for you? I see Lowe's has it.
Oh boy, don't know if I want to open that can of worms right now. Should I still worry about relocating those hoses even if my rockers are filled with Fluid Film?
Retaped the rocker panels. What a royal pain in the ass. I undercoated the truck previously so it took forever to clean the existing oil off. Also cleared debris from the drain holes.
Tried to relocate the sunroof drain tubes but couldn't find the hoses at the rear of the rockers. Any advice...
Got my modified Gen 2 front shocks and some takeoff Gen 2 rear shocks from Mikra. I probably won't get these on for a couple weeks as I still need to order Geisers but I'm excited to see how these perform. Feedback on this solution has been pretty limited so I will definitely report back with my...
I think you're going to find that the rock chips add up much quicker without the running boards. Nothing wrong with that so long as you are okay with it. Just wanted to give you a heads up.
I find that the search function on the forum is mediocre at best. Instead, you can also use Google and include "site:www.fordraptorforum.com" in your search, which will limit your results to those only from FRF.
