Nope, haven't touched it. My research suggests it's valvetrain noise. Gonna try to get it diagnosed this weekend.

Trucks been making this startup noise randomly for the last two months. Anyone else experience this? It's parked in the garage and rarely makes any noise in the morning but after sitting outside at work it happens more often. Motor is bone stock.

Got some fresh pow last night so decided to test out the new flaps early this morning. Highly effective at keeping snow off the door handles.

The 6R80 in my first gen does this all the time. Slow speeds through the parking lot results in jerky acceleration and hard shifts. Once the truck is warm/gets above 3rd gear the problem resolves itself. Seems Ford tends to struggle with transmission programming.

I believe they're referring to the sizeable batch of first gen Velociraptors that burned to the ground. I've not heard anything about the second gens.

Interested in this one. Am I reading this correctly in that we only have to swap the transfer case, control module, and switch to enable 4A? No reprogramming needed?

I would personally avoid that. Somebody will get butthurt and slash a tire. If that's a chance you're willing to take, go for it.

80.6" tall according to Ford. I don't think there's any reason not to believe the official numbers from the manufacturer. The tallest point is near the rear of the cab and the R has adjusted springs rates for the additional weight.

Rigged up some universal Rallyarmor flaps. Pretty happy with how they turned out but I'll be interested to see what the durability is like.

I think you'll seriously miss the creature comforts of the Gen 3. First gen is cool and all but it's light years behind the new trucks. I'll upgrade from my first gen, or add a new Raptor to the fleet sometime down the road.

I had the hardest time with my SDHQ brackets. We marked the hinge positions in advance and still couldn't get the hood realigned correctly, even with the second set of hands. After about an hour we finally got it to clear but the panel gaps on either side are off. Oh well.

Had the annual rustproofing applied. Only rust we could find was on the rear tow hooks and inside the hitch receiver.
