I had the same question. Something tells me this is standard on the R only but possibly an option for the Raptor. I could also see it being included on the 37 and R but not the the 35. We will see soon enough.
I’ll have something similar happen with my ‘23, but less extreme than what occurs in your video. I believe it’s the torque converter locking. Happens in 2nd and/or 3rd gear, 30-40 mph, 2000-3000 rpm. Can anyone else chime in?
There is no Cobb tune for the 2023. The 2023 has a different ECU than the 2022 due to some ‘security’ enhancements so it’s taking longer for Cobb to crack. My gut says we will see something soon based upon how long the 2023s have been out but I haven’t seen any sort of timeline from Cobb. I’m so...
Quick update on my end, the rattle is actually coming from the door panel/arm rest window area. I thought it was the rubber window seal but pressing against the door panel makes the noise disappear. Dealer said they will take the door panel apart.
I tested mine out and I did not get any sort of chirp. What sort of octane fuel are you using? Maybe see if it goes away after the next fuel up? I’ve noticed the truck is very sensitive to fuel quality.
The first video is definitely the transmission whine, and you’re right, it’s ‘normal’. My 2023 sounds exactly like that. Have about 2500 miles and the whine is part of the experience!
I have no idea about that second video with the chirp. I’ll park mine in the garage and give it a listen. I’ll...
I have the same rattle. It seems to come and go based upon the ambient temperature, direct sunlight, and use of the window. I’ve noticed if I raise the window up and down the rattle will disappear 50% of the time. I put felt tape on the inside of the trim where the widow rests on and it’s seems...
Can I ask what car you’re coming from or what car you’ve been driving? Reason I ask is that I have always driven sports cars and ‘sporty’ SUVS before I ordered a 35 and a 37. Both arrived within weeks of each other and I went with the 35, id be happy to share my reasoning.
That is not normal, at least it doesn’t work that way on my truck. All the bed lights turn on regardless if the car running or not. The mirror lights will never turn on when this button is pressed. Do you have proximity lighting on or off? Maybe there’s another setting that changes this? I have...
I have the same issue. It seems to come and go. Especially if the car sits around in the sun. I’ve lubricated the seal which helped a little. I put some tape on the underside of the seal as well and that has helped but I can still hear it once in awhile intermittently. I am going to the dealer...
Hi Everyone. My 2023 Raptor has about 2100 miles. I was under the front end of the truck today and noticed some grease on the CV. Right where it meets the hub/IWE. Check out the attached pics for detail. Any idea if this is cause of concern? This is the front left, the front right does not have...
That whistle is not normal at all, especially at that volume. I’d try to visit another dealer if you are able to and take a tech for a drive to demonstrate the noise. Perhaps they botched the original service when they corrected the overfill? I also have the clunk when coming to a stop...
I had similar spots just smaller and more uniform. All the above is perfect, I hit it with a wire brush first, then sprayed on the Rustoleum. I think it was their ‘rust reformer’ spray or something like that. You can’t even tell anything was there anymore. Easy Saturday project too!
