The info that I gave my dealer was the issue of the fan running, the pictures linked about and from a previous post this info " Rear Fan noise from Dcaca module under rear seat needs SSM (Special Service Message) 50167 performed by dealer module parameter update to change programmed parameters"...

Mine goes in Friday for the Fan update and hopefully to also fix the rear park assist Module error I inquired about the gauges resetting and if there was anything that could be done,and they said they have no idea what I’m talking about… so I guessing that’s a no lol

Here is an attachment that @birdieman posted on the other thread. From my understanding this is the original TSB from when the issue first was noticed. It’s from July and is for the f15p and machE. it’s also my understanding that an updated specific tsb is coming.

I expierenced the same issue On my way home from picking up my truck from the dealer. once I got home and went through settings I toggled the surround sound on, and have not heard/had any buzzing or cracking since. not sure if this was purely a fluke but mines been ok

Reach up and flip on the AUX 1 upfitter switch. Up near your sunglsss bin only the outside fog lights come on with the headlight switch.

i know it’s a small thing, but for whatever reason blank buttons drive me nuts… I will say with it being all the way to the left I hardly ever notice it anymore. If it was In the middle it would bug me a lot more.

I’ll admit to a key cover as well. “Fake” carbon fiber. Front side is the open style with exposed buttons because I couldn’t find one that didn’t have the trunk button.

Did that update fix the fan noise for you?

Unfortunately a reoccurring issue. At least two or three members here had the same issue. You can check the other threads but loose line into the tranny cooler. Sounds like someone on the assembly line didn’t remove a clip and tighten properly. Hopefully they get you back up and running quick.

Could you take a picture of the front cover of the manual ? It should list/show the year range and model number. And writing up a separate thread to not totally hijack this one, and it will include pictures.
