i recently had the following mods done on my 2019 Raptor at one time by a mechanic shop.
ADD front bumper with relocation bracket for ACC
2" Front leveling kit
SPD Turbo Adapters
I got the truck back with the following issues:
I can't access any driving modes (I don't get anything when I press...
Good point, but I changed my stock bumper on my '14 to an ADD with no issue.
I did the 2" front leveling and the ADD bumper at the same time, so I'm not sure which one is the cause. I hear people do leveling kits as well as aftermarket bumpers all the time, and I never hear of any similar...
i just added a 2-1/2" leveling kit to my '19 Raptor as well as a new ADD front bumper. I have the Adaptive Cruise Control option, so I ordered the special bracket to re install the ACC module. Of course I'm getting all kinds of error codes so I'm in the process of contacting ADD to make sure...
Thank you, I lowered all tires to 38 and the ride is much better. I'm going to lower to 36 and see if it improves any more. At 38 its about 60% better than when it was at 46!!
Just checked mine, 46 all around!! I will be lowering all today to 38 and see what happens. If I have to go a couple of pounds lower I will. Thanks for the info!!
I think you are spot on with the tire pressure issue. I checked my tire pressures this morning and they are all reading 46 lbs.!! I didnnt have time to adjust them this morning but I will this afternoon. I'm thinking of bringing them all down to 38 and see what happens from there. Its odd...
Yes, I agree with you with the styling in the rear. I much prefer the rear styling of the Gen 1's. They looked much wider from the rear and much more aggressive. Its one of the reasons I love the Raptor, its always looked different from other pick ups on the road. Like you said, I guess its...
I've had the issue with the truck jumping to the side at speed when hitting a bump. It leaves you with a somewhat skittish feeling after it happens a few times, especially in traffic. I'm going to try to lower the tire pressure and see what happens. That being said, i would not let it deter...
Know the feeling well in the short time I've owned my truck. Its scary at times when the truck feels like its going sideways into the next lane. Will the Deavers take care of this problem?
I know the Gen 2 was completely redesigned from the Gen 1, and I have a question regarding the rear of the truck, specifically the sides of the bed around the wheel wells. The backs of the Gen2 trucks appear narrower than the Gen 1's with the rear fenders being more stream lined and not as...
Is it just me, or is the seating position in the Gen 2 different from the Gen 1? It seems like I'm sitting more upright and higher in the 2019 than I did in my 2014. I've tried adjusting my seat to every imaginable position and I still get the same feeling of being higher and more upright.
I'm experiencing an inordinate amount of rear suspension "jumping" and the vehicle seems unstable while traveling at speed on dry pavement over any bumps in the road. The truck seems to want to kick out into the adjacent lane when going over bumps, especially the rear. My 2014 was much more...
Thanks Nick, regarding the package price for the Cobb system, where can I find that on your site for the 2019? I'm not ready just yet, but may be in a couple of weeks. I am also planning on adding an exhaust at some point in the future (havent decided which one yet), does the Cobb tune have to...
Thanks for the explanation. So I should be paying more attention to the max gains because this is where I will see the most power put to the wheels at that given RPM? As soon as the 2nd series for the '19's are available I will get in touch.
I read this on the Cobb website regarding their power gains with their tunes,
"Peak Gains are measured as the absolute maximum value between the highest points of two plots.
Max. Gains are measured as the maximum delta percentage between two plots."
The actual number percentages between the...
This is indeed great news, however I'm going to wait for the Stage 2. Maybe, I'm just difficult to please, but I know once the Stage 2 numbers come out, I'm going to want to upgrade, so I just as well wait a little longer. The Stage 1 numbers, although nice, dont impress me that much.
I agree it is very pricey, but I do like the ability to run the exhaust open or closed depending on circumstances and mood.
I'm going to use the truck as a daily driver and sometimes I just feel more aggressive than others. That's when I would run it open. I plan on a Cobb tune(if they ever...
