I have experienced this same issue on my '19. My tire pressure form the dealer was set at 46 on each wheel. Every time I hit a bump I would feel a jolt and the truck would try to "jump" into the next lane. I lowered my tire pressure a couple of times and it did get better. I am currently...
Sam, thank you for your advice and info here. Please understand that I am in no way trying to bash your product, but I'm only trying to give MY honest assessment of a product so others can make a more informed decision. Its disappointing when one has such high expectations of something only to...
Thank you, yes I know the PC doesnt add power and its simply a better throttle response and therefore a perception of more power. I did bump up the DPC to 5 from factory setting of 3 but I will try bumping it up further to see what happens. Thanks for your input!
I have around 2000 miles on my 2019 Raptor and I decided to buy in to all the hype about a Cobb tune because the lure of that much power, even on a 6000 lb. truck, is intoxicating to me.
I installed the tune last night and drove my truck to work this morning which consists of about a half hour...
I have the ADD Stealth R front bumper on my '19 and i love it. Its a very aggressive looking bumper and I'm happy with the overall quality of the bumper. Its my second ADD bumper (I had one on my'14) and I have not had any issues. No cutting and install is straight forward. I'll probably be...
My dog always rides in the cab with me or he stays home. I would NEVER put my dog in the bed, no more than I would put any other member of my family back there.
Thanks for the info, I've gone down to 34 in the rear and 36 up front. It is a little better, but on certain bumps at highway speeds the truck definitely seems to want to kick out to the side. Part of the problem is that the pressure in the tires fluctuates by 3-4 pounds depending on the temps...
Thank you for that very detailed explanation. I really appreciate the time you took to write it. I don't really want to increase the weight of each tire, but really what's another 20-30lbs overall in the grand scheme of things. If I can actually notice a better ride quality it's worth it...
I always felt that way as well, but I've been reading other members complaints about them and I was starting to think that some of my handling issues are stemming from the tires. I've reduced pressure to 36 front and 34 rear so I'm going to try to stick it out and see what happens.
Lately, I've been hearing that the stock KO2's that come on the Raptors may not be the best tires for pavement driving. I am considering changing them out but keeping the stock bead lock wheels on my 19 Raptor. My question is, what is the largest 35" tire that will fit on the stock rims? Also...
Yes, that's a good description. I just don't feel the confidence I should driving it like I did with my '14. It's jittery and seems to want to drift into the other lane at times. I just lowered tire pressure to 35 all around. I'll see how it feels tomorrow. Seems like tire pressure varies...
I've owned my 2019 for a little over 1500 miles now and I'm not thrilled with the ride on pavement. I lowered my tire pressure from the factory and I did see somewhat of an improvement. However, my 2014 seemed much more "planted" at speed when taking curves on highways. I had much more...
Looks like the consensus is Deavers. Oh well, I guess I was foolish to assume that I wasnt going to have to spend any more money on a $75K truck. About $6K in and still going! :(
I'm noticing that under hard acceleration from a stop, I sometimes tend to get some rear wheel hop. Is there anything that can be done to avoid this? I know this cant be good for the differential or axle. I plan on adding the Cobb Stage 1 soon and its only going to get worse.
LOVE that Color! Mine is Agate black, but I was very close to purchasing that color but there weren't any available in my area with the options I wanted. Good luck, and enjoy!
In many instances we are all ready to bash a vendor for poor service, but most of the times we never recognize the vendors that offer the good service we all expect.
Apollo Optics has been one of the best, and easiest vendors I have ever dealt with! Communication has been great and extremely...
Finally discovered the issue!! When the truck was leveled the driver side height sensor cable was not connected properly and therefore led to the "wobble" and loss of driving mode availability!
Word to the wise... DONT RUSH YOUR MECHANIC when he's working on your truck!
