I put on black Gorilla lug nuts. Surprisingly, it made a huge difference. The Hellwig sway bar came in along with charcoal metallic 3M pin striping to cover the silver accents. I’ll get that done this weekend. More to come…
I also considered removing them completely, but I have to keep the hood graphics. My PPF is cut around it. I figured it would look odd with hood graphics and nothing else on the sides that matched. I go back and forth, so I figured this was a good compromise.
I’ve been considering partial removal of my side graphics, but I do like how they look, minus the silver on them. Has anyone pinstriped over the silver or done anything similar to modify the OEM graphics? I’d like to cover the silver stripe with a magnetic gray or flat black. It seems like it...
I’m not sure you’re going to find many people that have attempted this, but I could be wrong.
I traded my Platinum for my Raptor, and I can tell you the massaging seats are nothing special. I don’t miss them at all, so if that is the one thing you’re really wanting, you may be disappointed...
That new grill is still growing on me and I’ve yet to see a reason to upgrade from my Gen 2. Yesterday, I had two guys tell me they liked my brand new Raptor. They didn’t believe me when I said it was a 2020. If I put the new bead locks on it, the only people that would known the difference was...
That looks great. I'm debating on the all black or the black/gray leather. Do the seams on the transition from the gray to the black interfere with where you put your elbow? I rest my elbow right where that inside seam would be.
I'll agree with everything said here. We have a new Lexus RX350 F-Sport (this is the best SUV I've ever owned), and the Gen 2. When I want road hugging thrills, I drive the RX. When I want comfort and general badassery, I drive the Raptor. The kids LOVE the Raptor...and it fits them all very...
Yes, I drove both last night. I didn’t mind the smaller 2.3 Ecoboost. I was impressed. The ST was very stiff but was a rocket ship…it’s a SUV that can get you into trouble. For comfort, I’d prob go with the smaller ST-Line 2.3 Ecoboost because the suspension was responsive, but not harsh.
I've been looking at an Explorer ST for the family, didn't know if you guys had any experience with them. I went and drove one last night and it was nice...just didn't know how they are holding up. I've also looked at the ST-line, which was very nice as well but has the smaller ecoboost...
