Thanks I’m guessing you had them off for some time ha but my truck is somewhat retired now and doesn’t go far these days. So not an inconvenience to not have them on
Spent the weekend underneath my truck removing the running boards and cleaning rust off my rockers. 10 years of Northeastern weather and driving on the beach has not been kind but I saved them in time. Anyway the dirty work is finished now I just have to fluid film the shit out of them. And some...
I took it on the beach for the first time this year on Saturday, it threw up the p0155 code on the way home and so I spent yesterday changing out that 02 sensor.
Then I had an ice cold beer and rinsed the salt off.
Your truck gone too ?
Good luck OP. I can imagine you will miss her for a long time to come and that really sucks, but a new home and better quality of life of course can't compare. A responsible decision isn't easy, kudos.
Eh I got over 40k out of my first set of original equipment KO's (everyone knows those issues) and even more than that on my KM2 afterwards. Both of which tires still had life some good meat left and coming from airing down to 25 pounds for the beach constantly and driving highway miles for...
This !
I have been running a Ford racing filter ever since the truck was new. I also recently switched from the Ford full synthetic (I had the dealer doing the changes for years) to Mobil 1 and I swear there is a noticeable difference in the engine noise at idle. It is quieter now.
That's what I'm paying for 93 octane right now.
And you guys living in free states God Bless ya's I envy you for not having to shell out $100 every year for a state inspection shop to look the other way because I live in a pig liberal state where you can't run tinted fronts, make you slap on an...

I’m so behind I had no idea Method finally started making a better center cap option for their own wheels
+1 where did you get those caps from they are ****. I bought a set off a forum member years ago for my old NV’s and who first starting making them, then it was Chief Machining from what I remember but who’s are those ?
I sized up and went with E rated KO2 on my rig. I just feel more confident with a heavier wall and I only drive street and airing down on the beach. Gas mileage, ride comfort and performance aren't much concern to me she doesn't get used hardly much these days and I'd rather think of it as a tank.
My truck was in the dealer last summer for almost a month getting both the front and rear cameras replaced under warranty. The rear camera took longer; they had to by process of elimination rule out part by part and then wait for the parts to come in. The front I believe they just diagnosed it...
The only thing in my opinion that could hold a candle next to my raptor and that I would actually entertain swapping for would be a new super duty tremor with a godzilla 7.3. But they're two different beasts and the SD is not as nimble
Thanks fellas I appreciate the advice. I will try some of this on the inside of the covers. For now they are probably going up as art on the wall of the man cave, they are pretty darn impressive as is.
