Journey Through Zion...W/O Scratching Your Tire Shine

Wow makes a Raptor look like a toy truck out there. Even the roads are orangey coated from that dirt. Enjoyed the views and keep a bottle of shine (tire shine that is) in the truck at all times, just as @smurfslayer does lmao.

Ok have to ask the question. And that will probably get answered as @1BAD454SSv2 performs more testing. Do these throttle bodies add any decent amount of power on the dyno or deliver measurable results to the seat dyno?

    How is this piece removed?

I kinda stopped looking at it really.

    How is this piece removed?

It’s odd and it’s ugly. Every time i wash the truck I notice it and try to forget it exists. A few years back and I would be doing a redesign on it. You can probably just silicon it down flat.

    2020 Raptor - Rim Broke

Wow that’s a major failure. Your ok, so you can fix and move past it. Is it possible at 20psi hitting a whoop and landing not flat. You hit that outer dish section of the wheel and caused the failure? I mean just an unlucky one in a million hit? Maybe there was a big rock buried in the...

    Ordered new 22 raptor

All good info given above and if your going to be waiting 6-8m anyway, mod that order and get the 37’s with black interior. Many have otherwise put 37’s on 35 trucks. You can level it as well to insure any clearance issues. If you going to put an aftermarket IC in, then you might as well do...

    Hello from Michigan

Welcome and good luck with the deal. Post pics when and if you get it. You will find out of heavy payloads and heavy towing it does pretty well here. The truck itself has a lot to offer otherwise. So a lot of 6.2 engine failures after all this time that engine has been out? Problems with...

Replaced phasers twice now blown motor ?

Hey OP did you opt for the teardown and hopefully for your sake somebody did something wrong? I’d pass on that 14k new motor lol So this other dude is saying a test mule Raptor(which doesn’t even have rounded wheel flares)is running an N/A 800/850 factory 7.3 in it? Wow can’t even start to...

New to me 2020 in Austin TX.

Welcome aboard! Great looking Raptor. There’s plenty to spend on. I have a Lomax cover and it’s really super low profile and quite a clean look. Water tight and you can remove the whole thing in literally a minute.

Why would you not buy a gen 3?

Since when are EPA numbers something you can bank on? I’m sure the TRX will cost even more on gas and probably so for the Raptor. We know hitting single digits on the TRX will certainly cost you a bit more to feed.
