Looking into having my 2019 LV rebuilt, and came upon a good deal on some G3 LV. I’ve searched and all I can find is the rears might be a little longer on the G3, and the valving is better. Has anyone tried to run G3 shocks on a G2?
Been thinking lately, I carry a Jack, boards, a bunch of tools, but no spare parts. What are some things to keep in the box for a gen 2? Tie rod ends, control arms?
17 days later ... $480 out of my pocket, warranty paid the rest. Work order listed my concerns, "verified by test drive, suspect internal failure and recommend replacement".
Updated yesterday, claim is going to the big bosses at the warranty company. My advisor is awesome and isn’t budging, but did price haggle a little. Almost 10k for a new trans.
I wouldn’t mind paying the difference and then I will promptly look into a prorated refund for the remaining mileage on the warranty to make up the difference. I should’ve just gone with Ford ESP
just got a call that the warranty company offered to install a used transmission.. WTF? can they do that? He's waiting to hear back after uploading his work order.
Dealer is recommending new trans, I believe they pulled the pan and valve body per TSB and it didn’t fix it, which I was 95% sure would be the case. Just waiting to hear from warranty company and he said he will fight them. Does anyone know if we get a new OEM trans if the CDF part has been...
Attempted to do the drive cycle. After clearing adaptive learning, wouldn’t shift into 2nd, went into 7th and back to 1st, code P076F, 7th gear ratio mismatch. Guess it’s time to call the dealer.
