Thanks dude, that is helpful. The 38" comet you use is 1/2 wave, and the 18" is 1/4 wave. What I can't tell is if the 1/4wave is a NGP antenna. It says this in the specs: "Magnet Mount Compatible: Yes ", so maybe that means its a NGP antenna? I'm not sure.

What 1/4 wave antenna are you using? For a mag mount it is probably NGP, and I can't find one...?

Yep the guys with KO2's did great. I run a set of Duratracs and those tires are amazeballs in the snow. I pulled out of deep stuff that I thought for sure I wasn't getting out of. And on the hardpack/ice they grip as good as any snow tire I've ever ran on my other cars. I'm very impressed.
