if you have forscan do a ride height recal. if not, try putting it in ET (engineering and test mode)--find a level surface, put the car in neutral and then hit the m (manual button) while the truck is on. turn the vehicle off. then hit the start button with your foot off the gas so it doesnt...
you'll get that in normal mode with baja and manual shifting engaged, esp if you hammer on it. i think putting it in baja mode amps up the speaker exhaust augmentation which could explain the perception of added noise
we know it can from the significant gains tuners area already extracting from the 3.5. the 2.7 also takes to tuning well as does the 3.0 in the braptor.
i had the same thought at first, then i watched the bronco vid... measly 20hp and thereabout torque wise. they also made a point to say that's at the flywheel. does not give me high hopes for the factory raptor tune should it ever come to fruition
ive been to multiple dealers. they wont even do diagnosis bc there arent any DTCs present (ie light on dash). i was also told that the tsb above was "not related" to my issues. the dealers here are shit... i basically have to wait until the truck is ****** up enough that they cant turn me away...
i ask bc you mentioned that it's riding rough. would be a good idea to check what your shocks are reading in terms of ride height. you could be a recalibration/some module resets away from a smooth ride
in the summer ive been running 32/30 cold that heats up to 36/34 hot. ive noticed anything above that pressure wise is significantly more stiff. Winter i do 34/32 cold.
You'd want to do it if:
- you have an abnormal rough ride
- your suspension is acting strangely over bumps/changes in the road (ie seems bouncy or is pitching back and forth strangely)
- you've added new springs, control arms, shocks, etc.
- your truck has thrown the drive modes/exhaust...
you likely need to do a ride height recalibration on completely level ground. if you dont have forscan, you can putting the truck into engineering and test mode first (its a part of the ride height recal process and when my suspension starts acting up (i think i have a solenoid thats going bad)...
