Thanks for the info, I'll have to go try that driver-info-center diagnostics.
Additionally you can enter navigation diagnostics by holding presets 3 and 6 while not moving (perhaps only in park, I forget): http://www.fordraptorforum.com/f12/navigation-bezel-diagnostics-view-clear-dtcs-3671/...
I just picked up a Dakine pick-up pad for my truck, which I'd like to just leave on most all the time. It of course does a great job of blocking the back up camera in the Ford oval:
I think the ideal solution would be to just get a license-plate frame camera like this one:
LOCKPICK...
Not that I have any use for a midsize sedan, but that is seriously awesome. Do like the Aston-like styling as well. I just find it amazing that Ford cars are becoming "higher end" and much more respected (and I'm not a born/bred Ford guy, my last truck was a GM). Ten years ago I wasn't...
Holy shit...just saw the bit about "Holy Jim"...that's actually Trabuco Creek Road. This guy is local. And that road is smooth enough that many people drive cars down it (to park at the end and hike up the trail that is actually named Holy Jim).
You can fit any normal motorcycle in the bed (gate down). I've only had a buddy's Kawasaki Versys in mine so far. My Dad's Sierra (same size bed) has had an FZ1, R1200GS, S1000RR, and I think a few others in it as well.
PS....this is obvious, but loading motorcycles in a Raptor SUCKS. :)
Wow. I'll just plain never understand how this actually happens. Really good to hear that only the drunk was injured, that seems like the rare outcome.
Why do you want Blu-Ray? Just to use your existing library of movies? You're going to need a much better display than is typically available for in-vehicle entertainment to make it matter.
That dealer is out of his mind, that's $2k more than my ever so slightly more optioned 2011 truck stickered for, and I paid about $2k less than that in December of 2010 (had to hunt for that deal at the time).
Raptors in general seem to be overpriced on the used market. I think I've seen...
I'd recommend against trying to put iTunes music, MP3s, or any other "lossy encoded" music into the Jukebox. The music has already lost some of its data being encoded into MP3 (or AAC in the case of iTunes). When the Jukebox feature pulls it off the CD, (in the uncompressed CD audio format)...
Sorry to hear this phyguy...nothing short of disgusting to hear this and really makes me think I need a camera now.
Curious on all these cameras: do all of them record audio, and is there a way to disable it? I strongly dislike the idea of recording audio, it has no relevance to the use of...
I don't have one for this reason. Different brands include varying levels of protection, but none are engineered against dirt/water ingestion nearly as well as the stock Ford item.
Saw a guy with a Dodge Dakota kill his motor driving fast through a foot-deep puddle once (fully open element...
LMAO!
Next months contest should be who can obscure the most prostitutes on a streetcorner using tire smoke. (Not my original idea, a British motorcycle magazine actually did this.)
Oops, sorry McLaren orange...looked like the darker metallic one in that first shot.. :) There's a dealer on PCH down the street from me, I'm amazed how much more striking they look in person than on video or in photos.
Not really.
Why doesn't anyone read up on this modification before they do it? HID headlights only work when you change both bulbs and optics. If you just do bulbs (as 90% of people do) you do get the brightness of HIDs, but the light isn't placed correctly on the road. They appear...
