I have some Fox 3.0 live valve coilovers and shocks that I had rebuilt by fox that I haven’t reinstalled. I’m trying to sell them. Asking $5500 for all four. Located in So-Cal.
I’m sure it’s been mentioned her, but a 5.0 in a Raptor would make the truck too expensive. Although it’s a V6 twin turbo eco boost, it still produces a lot of power. Especially if properly tuned with added mods such as exhaust, upgraded Intercooler etc. It already has a lot of torque.
Bringing this back to the topic. I too should’ve done my research before buying a Raptor. This thing is a money pit when it comes to gas and repairs. Not to mention upgrades.
Gotta scour the Internet and those apps that people sell stuff on, like Offerup and Craigslist. You’ll be surprised what people sell. Plus, it’s all negotiable.
Raptor exhausts are known to collect a lot of condensation in the exhaust if left idling for periods of time prior to shut off. Restarting caused the puddling. You might even notice some white smoke coming out is the exhaust upon start up.
