    SSM 47757: Harsh ride quality.

https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/tsbs/2019/MC-10153974-9999.pdf Just had my VDM updated yesterday on my early build 2019. Sorry to say it didn't help with my complaint. The ride on my truck is always jittery or fluttery, even on smooth concrete and at low neighborhood speeds. Feels like the rear of...

Washboard Dirt Roads = Major Problems

I have an appointment next week to address the SSM 47757 issue. I really hope this makes a difference.

Washboard Dirt Roads = Major Problems

That's true. But to clarify my mud Grapplers were bigger than stock size. 33x11.5. I loved them! Went through four sets on the old truck and hope to try them new truck too.

Washboard Dirt Roads = Major Problems

My '07 Titan with Mud Grapplers and Bilestein shocks felt more solid and planted on the rough stuff. Sure the hard bumps were noticeably sharper but the truck didn't shimmy from head to toe constantly and skip its ass around. And I always kept the same 40 psi tire pressure year round. I will...

Washboard Dirt Roads = Major Problems

Hope this is for real because I've also been very disappointed in the ride quality of my 2019. Its an early build as well.

    Peeling paint

Weird....not to derail your post but last night I dreamed that I had found the paint peeling off my truck. By this morning I had already forgotten but then the first thing I saw this morning as I sat with my coffee and logged in here is your post about peeling paint. And we live close to each...

GEN 2 My thoughts on my new Raptor and Questions !!

I've tried every combination of tire pressure, traction, drive modes, etc and have yet to find that magical combination. At this point I'm tired of messing with it every time; and I just leave the tires alone. I have DRIVEN the truck just like its meant to be. I've raced other trucks across...

GEN 2 My thoughts on my new Raptor and Questions !!

Welcome to the club. I cant help feeling disappointed with this truck. I consider it to be a step up from the "normal" trucks but its just not wowing me. You know we cant truly get to know a vehicle with just short test drives. Not until you take it home, baby it a few weeks, then really get...

I want to love my new truck, but still havent "connected" with it.

Have a safe 4th of July folks! I'm headed fishing soon.

I want to love my new truck, but still havent "connected" with it.

Interesting. I'll drop air pressure a little more. Lots of people hate on the Titan. I cant. Must have got one that was put together right. Zero problems until just about the 200k mark. I am mechanically inclined and could have fixed it but wanted a new ride. The intention was keep Titan and get...

I want to love my new truck, but still havent "connected" with it.

Thanks. Maybe things will settle in with a few more miles. No complaint with me on the interior. Its LUXURY by my standards. Not comparing against this truck in its intended element but in my realistic element. Off road cant be beat by another factory truck in this size category period. But its...

I want to love my new truck, but still havent "connected" with it.

Look dude. I'm raised old school military and have no problem respecting people but do not put up with rudeness. You rubbed me the wrong way right off the bat with your Shut Up or GTFO attitude basically calling me a bitch. Maybe I shouldn't jump to conclusions that you have little man complex...

I want to love my new truck, but still havent "connected" with it.

rrrrrufff ruff ruff the little grouchy chihuahua comes back again to bark at me. Seriously move along little man. This is for folks who might of had similar buyers remorse and have something constructive to say. It also strayed into interesting perspectives of the rotary shifter. Either way...

I kept putting in the wrong direction. And nowhere to rest my hand. Nothing wrong with it. It does save space. Just a drastic departure from what most folks are used to. A push button would be more intuative...and Chyster had one before.

And there's that guy. Don't be that guy. You know good and well the line of thought of this post. You bitch about what a waste this thread is yet you are the one wasting the time and effort to make a bitchy reply. Buzz off if you dont like it.

I want to love my new truck, but still havent "connected" with it.

This may have changed but the last time I drove a Ram the back seat bottom was fixed and would not raise up; and the seatback would not fold down. That and the rotory gear selector were deal killers for me. I'm not fond of cylinder deactivation either but, like auto start/stop, would be willing...

I want to love my new truck, but still havent "connected" with it.

A friend has a Gen 1 Raptor. In some ways I kinda like it more than mine ;-) I don't normally buy used cars/trucks anymore, for my daily drivers, but wouldn't totally rule out trading to a Gen 1.

I want to love my new truck, but still havent "connected" with it.

yeah, I was originally shopping Lariats and Platinums starting back in 2017/2018 and that plastic oil pan was the deal breaker for me back then. Then when the truck bug hit me again my wife was nudging me towards the Raptor. My lifestyle takes me offroad quite a bit and the Raptor already comes...

I want to love my new truck, but still havent "connected" with it.

Promise I'm not sasquatch or any of his reincarnations. LOL. Forscan and Fumotumo valve are in my future once I quit buying fishing/hunting stuff. The tune would be fun but is a no-go while under warranty. I keep tire pressure at 36 and regularly switch off the traction control. Not...

I want to love my new truck, but still havent "connected" with it.

I know folks on this forum feel passionately about their trucks…but I just want to lay my thoughts out there and see if anyone else has these thoughts. Had my 2019 Raptor for 6 months now. Traded in my 2007 Titan which I had bought new and put 200,000 miles on. While I like the Raptor I don’t...
