How many miles do you have on it? Mind started doing that around 80k. Got my shocks rebuild and fixed the problem. Mine did what the other guy said, it was like when you go to fast on a really powerful boat and would kinda wobble in the air. It scared the shit out of me at 1st
If anyone interested I have those OEM door decals I'm willing to sell cheaply. Its just the doors though No Cab corners as I used them for my Cab corner replacement
GEN 1s RULE. There more trucky than the 2s. The 2s have alot of tuning mods ya can do but the Gen 1s have a very proven Reliability record. The 6.2L engine is bullet proof and has more than proven itself in Work trucks like Super Dutys. As well as the 6 speed tranny. Good luck with whatever ya...
Aluminum Corodes very easily. I work on aircraft and we always Grinding corrosion and treating it. See it all the time. Aluminum body panels will corrode just easily as the steel ones rust. Just di good thorough undercarriage rinsing after winter storms and you be ok. Won't be full proof but you...
Its probably disconnected behind the bumper. Same thing happened to mine and I found it not plugged in all the way. At 1st glance it looked like it was but when I pushed in it I heard a click and no problem ever since
You will need to change the Pistons to a Forged set. Stock Pistons are Cast and won't last with big HP hit. And most likely bigger fuel injection rails. Adding more air means you need to add more Fuel
This is just AWSOME Information. I plan on total Restore my Gen 1. Plan on starting with engine and drive train. I just NEVER see myself parting ways with my Gen 1. Handing down to my Son someday
Gen 1s are very solid and reliable. Mine is same yr and color have 167 some thousand miles and only thing I had to replace was 1 coil pack. Did some body work work cause of the north east winters. But thats it
Is your off the gas pedal when ingageing or dissingageing? Must be off the gas when you do cause most of time you hear a loud bang or Grinding. Also if you don't use 4x4 much they can stick
Sorry MFNG. Thought you were asking on the decals. A excoworker of mine did it as a side job so I just paid for materials and a few hundred dollars for his time. My Rockers are still In Very good condition so he just did a touch up on them
They come in a kit. 350 dollars a side. 1 kit is one door and one cab corner. There are a total of 4 kits on the truck. Each bed side is a kit. They are 800 dollars each for the bed. All I have is just the doors as I ofcourse used the ones above the cab corners. So im just trying to sell the...
I recently had my Cab Corners repaired on my 2011 SCREW. I have extra Rear Door Decals for sale. 1 L/H rear door decal and 1 R/H rear door decal. Its the doors ONLY. I used the ones that go above the Cab Corner. They are FORD OEM deacals
I dont care about 0 to 60 or quarter mile times. Just having exploding power to play with is fine with me. If I want to go win and compete in drag racing I buy a mustang. I prefer good old fashioned RELIABILITY. Raptors have proven themselves. DEFINITELY with my GEN 1 RELIABILITY is just AWESOME.
Did it to mine and it was covered under my glass coverage on my insurance. They gave cash and I ordered one at my local body shop. Took old off myself and took it apart cause the new one doesn't come painted. Disassembled old one for the painted cap and all done. Easy to do. Check ur insurance...
